Yes.

I believe that is the general order and Gagliardini, Mkhitaryan and Asslani are designated backups to Barella, Calhanoglu and Brozovic respectively.

Unfortunately I suspect Limone will be a lot more liberal with the use of Gagliardini and Mkhitaryan - for example we’ve already seen Gagliardini start alongside Barella and Mkhitaryan start with Calhanoglu.

I don’t think we’ve seen Asslani on the pitch at the same time as Brozovic however and I’m not getting my hopes up.

Still early days though, plenty of time for Limzaghi to prove me wrong

He is trying to rotate more this season, which is a nice positive. One of the reasons why we lost scuddetto last year was exactly that. Gagliardini played more with conte than inzaghi last season.

But now he has asllani who is promising as fuck, but it seems that he trusts gagliardini more, which is a shame. But yeah, either way we need to rotate more, even if it means gagliardini plays...

I am not a fan of continuous rotations. That fucks up the team chemistry and also annoys players when partners keep changing. I am keen on playing same starting 11 constantly and giving backup players a decent amount of playing time regularly as subs, with priorities given to players like Asllani and Bellanova. However, we are getting our victories with difficulties, often matches are won with 1 goal margin toward the end of 90 minutes. This doesn't allow you freely make subs...

It was a great overall performance. He contributed well throughout the match and did the job defensively. I wouldn't mind giving him another opportunity in Brozovic's role.
