Nope. Just double checked. You can't give yellow after VAR. I wasn't sure whether the rules for Serie A were same as for the WC. But they are. This was already thoroughly discussed here after the Vecino-Mandzukic incedent.

Howard Webb was just talking and he said you can give a yellow. I believe you can't check VAR to see if someone made a yellow card foul, but if you think someone made a red but believe it a yellow, you can do that.

Mitrovic fucked up the 2 chances badly but for the 2nd one the guy was exhausted and could hrsly walk. Krstajic should have taken him off earlier. I'll give him credit for winning the ball off of Costa Rica and getting the free kick for the goal. I'm not sure if we have anyone better though Prijovic is better technically but not sure if we'd be better with him.

If Brazil had a real football player instead of Paulinho in that midfield spot, they'd be the absolute favorites.

The best defensive line by far, best GK in the tournament (Neuer missed a season so can't really consider him #1 so soon) and his backup is probably top 5 lol and their offensive power is just too much. Not enough creativity to make that tick, but that's not a huge issue in the modern game where creativity is sort of frowned upon.
Fred should be starting over him from the current selection. I'd even consider that kid Arthur as a starter over Paulinho who shouldn't really be there.

No no we deemed him flop because he was still young and developing when he got here, in the toughest league in the world, but we dont have time or patience to give for young talents besides the fact that our crappy atmosphere of changing management every year doesnt help developing shit either, so now we're trying to buy already developed and experienced -necessarily older- players in 9, but hey we dont want old players we want young players who are still developing so they can flop again and we sell them to Liverpool to become superstars.

Im not saying Paulinho is one of the best players in his position but i he is a special and diffrent player. Strong heading, good shoot, physical, defending.. he has a litle bit of all. While players like Allan are really good at defending and physical BUT cant do much offensive.
