Defense would be Burdisso-Samuel-Demichelis, and I'd put only 2 strikers. Milito and Messi. Maxi on midfield.

Argentina dont play well, but its natural for a first game in WC. I think they'll better and goes to next stage.

Nigeria will goes too.

Veron is old but he can help this team. I believe in his talent. You shouldnt be watching him here in South American, he still play a class football. Last year, he was fucking good in Libertadores when Estudiantes won.

Take out Veron, and Argentina's midfield shape is distorted.

Neither Bolatti or Pastore can do what Veron does for the team, I think it's a risky move for Argentina to base their play on Veron considering the fact that he can't play an entire game. So what happens if you go onto extra time in knockout stage and you need to sub off Veron?

And that Gutierrez dude, he'll be exposed sooner or later in the tournament.

Greece's best possible lineup:

---------------------------------------------------Tzorvas

Torosidis--------------Moras-------------Kyrgiakos----------------Papastathopoulos---------Spyropoulos

----------------------------------------Prittas----------------Katsouranis

------------------------------------------------Ninis

--------------------------Salpingidis-------------------Samaras

Gekas(instaed of Salpingidis), Karagounis(instead of Prittas), Vyntra(for right back if Torosidis goes left back) could be the other options.

Anything apart from that is not the Greek national team. Specially the players that were used in the first game were :yuck: Terrible terrible choice. Rehhagel probably needs to get checked, he got very old.

Prittas: The 2nd best defensive midfielder in Greece after, GILBERTO SILVA! Tziolis is an amateur in comparison, but this guy has no experience at top level whatsoever.
Katsouranis: Started the season in amazing fashion, scoring many goals for a midfielder(8), then he became extinct. Remained with his tally of 8 for the rest of the season and was criticised for being lazy, not running at all in the pitch, and he became known for his belly. Also a heavy smoker.
Karagounis: The same old Karagounis, but in Greece he's very selfish. Won't give a pass near him, and will usually look to lob over the defence to find the attacker. He is not starting material in games where you have to seek to score, but he's amazing at holding the ball so when you are the underdog, he's a beast. So I'd expect him to start vs Argentina instead of Ninis, but the lineup I posted should be used today

Messi is getting so many chances but none of them are going in. He's lucky he has people like Higuain to clean up.

Easily the best match so far. And this came only because of the poor defenses those two teams have. Great match by Argie's forwards, but that damn Higuain is so fucking lucky.

Greece will use the 5-3-2 as I wanted/predicted. But Rehhagel continues to "surprise" us by using the wrong players.

I predict a 2-0 victory for Nigeria

Albicelestes, winning in spite of Maradona becoming the subplot to the WC so far.

Great movement up front from Leo, Kun, Tevez & Gonzo...Ultimately, too much for SK...Not an easy match, shame the SK forward had no right foot otherwise they would've likely leveled late and perhaps it would've been a much tighter finish than it ultimately was

Argentina could be first team to qualify for 2nd round with a Nigerian win/draw

If current result holds, Greeks will be first side to officially crash out of the WC
