Pandev was so important in the treble season when we signed he became able to play the 4-2-3-1 I'll never forget his run against Barcelona which led up to Maicon's goal. He was a good servant overall for our club and left with class taking lower wages from Napoli and didn't cling on or overstay his welcome. I'm happy about how well he's doing for Napoli.

I agree pandev was a vital part of the treble, like it or not but lets move on he's no longer inter player, but he will be remembered he's play against bayern, barcelona and that goal agains't bilan. We got him for free and sold him made profit, and he left with dignity what more can you ask of the player.

Grazie pandev:palm:

Goran's story could be a motion picture material :D

A boy from Macedonia, goes to Inter, plays there a bit, gets loaned, moves to bunch of clubs, then comes back to his original club that took him when he was a boy, wins the fucking treble and moves on with his life.

<3

Yeah, i said it haters.

The gag reel/bloopers would be the same length as the actual movie.

I like how pandev's name got put in there :trolldad:

It was great transfer tho. Free player, 27 years old, Serie A proven, great for Lazio, and was one of the reasons we won CL. Sold him for 8 mils after, and we also made profit from it. Don't see it as bad transfer AT ALL.

Exactly. Plus, Pandev IS NOT a bad player. He was not treated right IMO.

Pandev was treated fine.

He's not a bad player, but he was putting in very frequent bad performances.

Everybody is so butt hurt on this forum. I put a troll at the end there....do ya'll not know what that means? Jeez.

With that said, NO, he was not one of the reasons we won CL. He was as bit part of the squad as was Chivu. The 2 least important players on that squad.

And no, while we made a net profit on transfer fee, the wages we were paying him (3mils net ) while he was with us AND while he was on free loan to Napoli means really, there was no overall profit.

That's good way to watch footbal players. They are not classical merchandise who club buy and than sell after couple years.

Footbal players are more like a machines on oil who are not possible to turn off. They are on all the time and when you buy broken one you have to be facking Gazprom or Sheik to survive.

Of course he was. He did great in that half season. He was shit the following, but he was one of those who put some decent performance for us and worked their ass off. He IS the reason Mou was able to implement his defensive 4-2-3-1. He couldn't do that with RQ, Balotelli or Arnautovic (the other forwards we had).

Defensive 4-2-3-1? Come on man, he didn't even play away to Barca, which was our most defensive performance of CL. He didn't start at home v Chelsea either, another defensive performance. At home v Barca he came off after 55 fucking minutes. So what did we do when Pandev wasn't playing? Lay down and stop playing defensive football? Jeez...talk about overrating.

Pandev played in 5 CL games (started 4), was subbed out in all 4 matches he started, and as a forward, scored 0 goals and had 0 assists, yet was "vital" or "one of the reasons we won CL".

Yet players like Deki (as a mid, scored 2 goals) and even Balotelli (scored 1 goal and 1 assist) aren't considered "vital" to our CL victory.

Pajo logic indeed...

Pandev was never great at Inter. He played a good Milan derby when we were down men against them and then Macedonian fans over-hyped his stay. He did decently well in CL, but as you go through our squad, you realize he had near zero impact. He was a fucking placeholder on our squad and his contribution is practically ZERO compared to Eto'o, Milito, Wes, Cuchu, Motta, Maicon, Wall, Lucio, JZ, and JC. ZERO. FFS, even Lucio had an assist and Wall/Cuchu had a goal!!

To say he was "vital" is actually quite funny. He was simply a squad member.

Never said he was vital, go check again and STOP putting words into my mouth, words i never thought of, let alone said them, he was along with Chivu the least "vital" part from the starting players, but he was one of the reasons Jose managed to play 4-2-3-1. We would have never won CL with Balotelli and his workrate instead.

I don't hype Pandev, in fact i don't like him at all and argue with macedonian fans all the time, but you are really, really undervaluing his performance under Jose.
