Moretti = Favalli
Maxwell = Wome
actually that's a good deal, cause both are younger and better than the other ones.

Moretti is younger than Grosso and he is better in defence but i still prefer Fabio Grosso

To be frank, it's really dumb to let him go. I can't think of better sub for Maxwell.

I can't wait to do some calculations concerning the average age of Milan squad come next season, especially the defense. It's getting quite ridiculous.

LOLL!

Billy, Stam, Cafu and Maldini are those guys you see do the testemonials for a company.

Vieri got sucked in, before we knew it he had a new haircut and an earring to go with it.

Yeah Sayak, Maxwell - 1st choice and Moretti - 2nd choice would be fine. Then again, if Moretti shows his worth and does well than expected, Maxwell can be an option for our left wing as well. In other words, he would be a back up to Stankovic as well. :)

But if we go for Pasqual as well, then Maxwell + Pasqual would be a bit interesting as well. I doubt we will get Pasqual, coz of Maxwell's arrival, lets just hope that Maxwell will be back to his old self.

Well Pravesh we seem to be agreeing on everything today !!!

as for Maaxwell on LW, i do think with Kily & Wome (definitely) leaving, Cesar (i hope) leaving, and Solari (unfortunately) leaving ... we shud definitely hv atleast one genuine left-footed guy in that position.

if rumors for Pasqual are true ...

LB = Pasqual, Moretti
LW = Stan, Maxwell

Now I don't agree with you !! :D

I am kinda sure that we won't see all the three Moretti, Maxwell and Pasqual in Inter. It would be a surplus, as Stankovic would be a sure starter in the left wing and Pasqual in the left back role. In that case, we won't be needing Moretti. Then again, I don't think at all that we will sign Pasqual.:)

Maxwell and Moretti sounds a bit realistic ... :p

Cesar has another 2 years of the contract, so he stays.No need to bring another backups.

there is also solari with another 2 yers of contract.

the loan has option for another 2 years.The question is ,if the option is automatical or not ?

Solari's future depends on the coach.if mancini stays he leaves.

I thought the option to pick up the player's contract was left to the club to decide once the loan period was over. I really dont see the management screweing up that badly and handing him a contract after some really junk performances. I was watching him during the first half of the Empoli the game and the guy had really crappy technique. I mean a twelve year old would have been able to trap some of the balls he was screwing up with ease.

1919 I really dont think we are going to lose Kily, Solari, Cesar in one go. That would be dumb because we would have to pick up a player to fill the huge gap they leave behinf. I think one for sure will leave max two.

IMO it will be Solari who stays with Kily for sure on his way out. The only person in doubt is Cesar. There is a possibility he might stay but that all depends on how the rest of the transfer campaign shakes down.

I don't have so much hard feelings against Favalli than what I have against CZ. Because, I'm sure Favalli would have accepted our contract offer if he had got that ever. He would have been a good rotation or a backup player for at least next season. Hope we'll getting Grosso then, I'm not too convinced about the idea to have just Maxwell as our firstchoice leftback.

CafeCordoba, getting Grosso might be tempting, but I don't think it's the best we can do.

It's about time we get a world-class LB to solve it once and for all. I still have doubts about Maxwell and Grosso.

I just don't like this revolving door policy we have. We settle for a half-solution, then we look again for a player 2 seasons later. This will be the case with Grosso, he ISN'T a permanent solution. Just get Pasqual!

Great point Ashkan. I try to look the other way about one of Baggio's biggest sins: going to Juve from Fiorentina. I don't recall which team he supported as a youngster, I will be very surprised it was Fiorentina.

Grosso is far better than you are giving him credit for Hamed. He might be a tad on the slow yes but his ability to bend in the crosses in from the left is unmatched in Italy. He can send in thos deep crosses that are pin point right onto the striker's heads as well as going deep and makinga tight cross. he can pick out an onrushing player at the back post with ease and he can also move centerally when on a run to provide a lofted ball into the middle of the box.

Plus with the hard working Stan in front of him I dont see him getting exposed that much should he take too long to get back. furthermore his defensive abilites are better than any LB we have in our squad (including Maxwell) and I would rate him better in that department than Pasqual. Also his european experience both from the Uefa Cup this season with Palermo and his established spot as first choice LB for the Azzurri is something not to be overlooked.

Sure he might be 29 in November but i would rather take the chance with him than get a player that was playing in the Serie B last season. For all the plaudits you are giving Pasqual you forgot to mention that point as well as the fact that he is also very young and Inter really is not the type of environment you want to bring such an inexperienced talent like him.

I took it as encouraging news that Inter are pursuing Grosso as I think he should be the prime candidate for the LB spot @ inter. The Pizarro swap would be a fair exchange especially as it looks like Inter are thinking of purchasing an ACM. Pizarro will not like being relegated to the bench and getting Grosso for him would be a good swap deal. However it should not be a straight swap Palermo must also include one of Di Michele or Franco Brienza. The first would be a half decent second striker and the latter would be a great replacement for Pizarro and would be more than willing to accept the bench at a big team as that is his current position with Palermo. Brienza has great vision in his passing and can make pin point passes. A player that would be great to bring off the bench to open up defences in tight matches or to give the new ACM a rest against smaller teams.
