Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most underrated players at Inter right now.

He's been solid and consistent for us, the Supercup game was just the last example of this.

His main problem with the fans is that he was a Lazio player, and everyone assumed that he was only playing because Mancini is in love with him. Well sorry but I think he proved otherwise many many times.

One of the best signing under mancio's reign... Not being in the spotlight too often, doesnt get injured too much.. Not considered as the biggest talent... BUt he shows he can play for us and cover the most difficult side to cover for many years...

We may have hope on Wome, but thank God we still have Favalli to cover this postion, coz we still don't know if wome can do it as we hope.. (I am positive about wome's chances)

favalli did not impress me at all last season but the game against juvemerda in the supercup really did i have never seen him play the way he did if he keeps on playing like he did in super cup we will have a great defence and a squad wich does not lack any players in any position

whenevr i saw him play last season he was ok-ish , but nothing special ... i guess i will be seeing more of him this season b4 making up my mind

Favalli in my opinion is an ok player. He's neither under-rated nor over-rated in the forum, I guess. If that's not the case, then it's for me. Favalli did have a very good game against Juventus AND he did well last season when Kily played well in the left wing. It seemed that he could play well if he was supported well by a left winger. even if Stankovic didn't do well against Juventus, Favalli did his job very well.

But have to admit that he could be the first good left back in seasons. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't be looking for other left back for next season though. First of all, he's getting older + his contract ends {which cane be extended though} + there are better left backs {with all the due respect to Favalli, who often does his job - in defence}.

As I said earlier, Favalli did well in offence as well when played with Kily. Left back should definitely be one of the few positions for which we should be hunting down in the transfer market for 2006/07 season.

Couldn’t agree more with the above post. He is an ok’ish player, where he just about does his duty and nothing more. He rarely find himself in a situation to cross the ball, and when he does so unfortunately most of them are of no use as his crossings are pretty poor.
Hence our LB position will probably still remain the main area of concern prior to next season.

but seriously he's a good player and he's Italian which is always a plus. I just get the feeling he's a Lazio man at heart. He's given no interviews since his transfer.

I like to think of him as the quiet achiever in this team. They are invaluable for all successful teams. Stam is the quiet achiever for Milan, Makelele the quiet achiever for Chelsea, Toure the quiet achiever for Arsenal, Zambrotta/Thuram the quiet achiever for Juventus.... the list goes on for every team.
