Apparently there was no broadcast feed of the Heidenheim game? Jeez. Wonder if the stadium isn't equipped to handle broadcasting. In any case, 14 or so added minutes...I'm left to winder how that's possible. I was only really able to watch the last ~25 minutes of the Hamburg game + post-match commentary on the ridiculousness of it all, Hamburg fans storming the field, having at least two "official" celebrations (the PA in Sandhausen even gave a congratulations on promotion to Hamburg, at least according to the match commentator), and then the finality of the news that promotion had been denied - at least for now - after all.

There were already rumours yesterday from sources close to Bayern that Tuchel feels exposed as it was Kahn and Brazzo who convinced him to join Bayern but for the time being he's staying.

There's internal chaos at Bayern right now. They replaced Kahn with a finance guy, they're begging Rummenigge to return, it looks like Marco Neppe, Bayern technical director and very involved in transfer decisions under Brazzo, could also be on his way out. And no one knows who could replace them. Krosche is tied with Eintracht till 2025, Eberl joined Leipzig only in December so both of them seem unlikely. They're linked with Reschke, ex Stuttgart and Schalke, who hasn't done anything of note since he left Bayern in 2017.

FC Hollywood at its best. Imagine what would have happened if they hadn't even won. Fucking Dortmund.

Strange hiring. He had a decent first season at Leverkusen but he totally lost the plot in second and they were battling relegation when he got fired with a squad that was good enough to finish in top 4. Granted he was unlucky with injuries but still.

I didn't see enough this year of any of them to have an honest opinion. About all I can say is that hiring-and-firing managers after each season is how you become the next HSV or Hertha, and the days of Eberl's steady hand are gone, so they better know what they're doing with this appointment.

Big news for Stuttgart. Porsche are set to invest 100m on the club. Mercedes remain a partner albeit with a reduced involvement. They will also relinquish their naming rights to Neckarstadion (current name: Mercedes-Benz Arena) which will now be named MHP Arena.

Meanwhile Bayern won't extend their 25m sleeve sponsorship agreement with Qatar Airways.
