Bayern lost against Dortmund today for their super cup.

Pretty much a weakened team on both sides. I think Dortmund actually had the advantage here as less of their players were returning from World Cup duty.

Didn't Pep learn that his 3-4-3 didn't work at Barca?

But with exciting matches left and right with attacking play and cool, young players is surely better to watch than the snoozefest of Serie A? At least to me it is.

Yeah, same here. Don't get me wrong, I like tactical play, but the overload of it in boring Serie A is extreme. I think the Italians needs to move on to some modern football, mainly in the youth teams cause it all starts from there. It will pay off for their NT aswell, I honestly don't understand why they're still stuck in the past.

OT - good on Dortmund, didn't know the game was on. I truly hope they can give Bayern a fight this season, could easily become one of the most interesting leagues if they fight each other in the league until the end.

Wolfsburg boss Dieter Hecking on signing Nicklas Bendtner: "The top shelf was empty, we had to look further down."

Mainz play a diamond usually, although they'll have a new manager.

Olic goal look like it took a deflection. Whenever you see a ball balloon like that in such a short distance odds are someone nicked it. But yes Robben looking in World Cup form again already.
