Herzlichwillkommen zur Bundesliga saison 07/08

So next Friday the new bundesliga season starts. This season everybody looks at Bayern they spent as much money as never befor on the transfermarket and also have the strongest squad they had in years.
These are all theire ne w signings this season:

Luca Toni (AC Florenz) 11.000.000
Jan Schlaudraff (Alemannia Aachen) 1.000.000
Julio dos Santos (VfL Wolfsburg)
Hamit Altintop (FC Schalke 04) ablösefrei
José Ernesto Sosa (Estudiantes de la Plata) 9.000.000
Marcell Jansen (Borussia Mönchengladbach) 12.000.000
Toni Kroos (FC Bayern München U19) -
Franck Ribéry (Olympique Marseille) 25.000.000
Zé Roberto (Santos Futebol Clube) ablösefrei
Miroslav Klose (Werder Bremen) 12.000.000

and the only big loss they have is Hargraves but they got good money fore him. So in my eyes it s a do ore die year fore bayern if they don t win this season they ll have a huge problem. This said the pressure on bayern is imense the media in germany speks about super bayern and so on.
So the only thing i see wich could keep bayern away from winning is that they can t stand the pressure coz i have seen a lot of pre season matches of them and they re imen. what i ve seen so far is that if only ribery preforms like he can the other teams are alredy in huge problems.

So the former champion Stuttgart did not do great things on the transfer market they keept most of they re team beside Hildebrand who will be very hard to replace fore them. The onyl good players they got are ljuboja and bastürk maybe also ewerthon can halp them. But the only way i see them competing with bayern is when Gomez again has another great season like last year and the rest of the team has once again to work off thei re asses that they have the slightest chance to compet with bayern.

Another potential Titel contender is Bremen but they did not really strengthen they re squad. and they lost klose who was they re main striker in the last season. So the only hope i see fore them is when carlos alberto turns aut too
a huge player and also diego has to keep up he s last years preformances and be even a bit more consistent.

The last team who i see competing fore the title is schalke. Even thought they were unusual inactive on the transfermarket an lost quite some players in lincoln and altintop. The only good player they got is rakitic who i thin well turn out to be gold fore them. and if this happens they could have a say in the title race.

So that beeing said i think that Bayern will win the title without any big problems and they can baisicaly only beat them self.

On all the other teams i think Bayer leverkusen will be the tem right behind the 4 mentioned above and if they have a bit of luck they could also be competing fore the cl spot.

Also i d watch out fore dortmund they played very entertaining last year and have not lost big player s beside Metzelder and i think it s gonna bee nice to watch them.

Soo all that said i realy hope we see an entertaining season and not a march through by bayern.

I don't see any team beating Bayern really...Ribery is simply too good. But Stuttgart and HSV will be strong this season, also Dortmund(will be stronger than last season)

Yeah thats just how i see it if only ribery is fit the rest of the bundesliga can go home. But if he gets injured it will be hard fore bayern i mean the rest of they re new buys have not shown much till now

Thanks for the preview Fabio!

I hope HSV make a run this year, last year was beyond horrible and I somehow hope it strengthens the team, somehow.

Hildebrand will be a loss to the Bundesliga, but good on Valencia for getting him, they got a good eye for effective GK's.

I am eager to see how Bayern gonna perform with all the big spendings. See if they can integrate the team well
I am almost certain sure they are gonna win the German League no one seems to be able to compete with them.... wonder how far they will get in CL too

Well not realy. Ofcourse hsv want s to keep him but i think if there s real interest of a big club he s gonna do everything to get away. I mean like 2 weeks a go there was a rumour that real wanted him and he imediatley said that he d do everything to play for real and that it s he s dream, so if a big club realy want s him he s gonna leave.

But the Hsv lost quite some other good players like sanogo, luboja and lauth therefor they only got Zidan who in my eye s will be a huge reinforcement fore them i onley hope that he s finally ready to preform in another club then mainz.

So all in all i think HSV has a good squad and if they preform like they did in second round last year they ll be able to compet with Dortmund fore the 5,6,7 place. But it s gonna be very hard for them and they have to have quite som luck this time. and i just doubt that after last season

I don't believe that losing Sanogo, Ljuboja and Lauth was that bad. On the contrary, it's pretty good they got rid of them.
Zidan is also a 12-15 goal a season guy...I see it work. And Castelen was a good signing too...their squad is not bad.

With no CL games this season, I imagine Bayern will focus quite a bit on the Bundesliga. Heavy favorites to win it I imagine, especially with the summer additions.

Still hope they fail though as I have an extreme dislike of them and don't really like Bavaria as a whole.

they lost klose and have no replacement for him. Frings is also out injured for the start. They should finish somewhere between 3-6.

I mostley agree with uhuh on bremen But i think if diego plays like he did last year and adds a bit of consistance to he s preformances i see bremen having a go at second place.

On yesterday s match it was very exciting and a great match. Maybe sttutgart was a bit unluckey coz they had a bit more of the match but all in all the draw is ok. And i m very happy that rakitic scored alredey in he s first competitive match.

I think he will consolidate in the elite of european football if he does a great season like last year, actually he has only played at that level this last year at Germany. I already rate him as one of the best 6 trequartistas of the world, i would love to see him at Inter next year.

It's weird to see Stutgart and Werder in CL and Bayern not, looking the 3 teams, that's why i think Bayern will win by a lot, 100% focus on league..... no question, man.
