Why?! Cancello is on dry loan here and if he struggle to convince will go back in Spain. From the other side Kondogbia's clause is 28 mln (+30% from further sale) and if Valencia don't want to pay it, there will be enough teams interested after his decent performances there.

It's still early,I meant over the long run. The reason he did t play is also that he was injured not being benched for a different reason like quality or adaptation. I am also suprised he was thrown in the derby,that might be an indication of how good Spalletti thinks he is especially that he came from injury ( I know we didn't have any midfielders)

I'm talking about tactical awareness here. The second part was a statement about teams/leagues that don't give into that too much and whenever asked about it they say we prefer "enjoying playing football", as if tactics are a nuissance. Kondogbia's attitude is the same. Refuses to learn how to play properly.

Pandev was great tactically. Balotelli was a generational talent that got wasted. Muntari was a workhorse, nothing like Kondogbia. Kondogbia is a talented midfielder who lacks tactical awareness and is more often a liability than not.

And I never talked about winning, you keep insisting about it for some odd reason. My statement was quite obvious.

He is playing with 3 very creative midfielders (Soler, Parejo, Guedes) so that means he is doing the dirty work, and Valencia fans / Marcelino are pretty happy with him.
It's for sure that Valencia will try everything to make an exchange betwen cancelo and kondo, but Inter should just ask 30 millions for K. Only only if Cancelo shines this season i would make a straight swap.

actually, i think the buy option for cancelo is much higher, like 35 mil.
at this point it is basically certain they will use their option on kondo, which makes us look like idiots once again, but it is what it is.
as far as cancelo, so far he has not shown he is worth that much, or even close, but there is still time.
