I don't get all the diving and shit, how do refs fall for it all the time actually.

It is very simple to understand when someone is simulating or not based on their actions and body movement. Just try finding a video how someone behaves when he is truly hit in the face and someone who dived/faked hit in the face. It is clear that real hit in the face does not produce incredible amount of rolling around, theatrical falls and twitching legs as often seen in those simulating.
Any other injury/faked injury is very much alike.

well it is a no brainer if he should be in this team or not. i dont mean as a certain starter, but he is surely a nice option.

it comes to how we want to play next year: either you play him as the 6 with two creative players besides him, so he can win balls, cover ground, and pass the ball to them.
the other possibility is to play a kovacic as the 6, whose passes are better, but then we need two players besides him, who are prepared to cover ground.

all in all he is a very useful option to have, because he could also play as an emergency cb (always a position i wanted to see him in), and because he is a good defender and certainly a great runner (also not a bad passer, but not a main source of creativity).
