Rome had a premature ending. Shame HBO ruined that show.

Shame they put 20 years of history into just two seasons, they didn't have the budget for more.

Completely agree it was too short. And I really don't find it logical that the producers decided to cut the series due to its costly budget while going for way costlier GOT. I am now feeling gutted, I want more of this show. This is the side effects of watching series, you get hooked and as soon as they finish you feel empty.

Re Rome, I personally don't like when tv shows promote too much of sex and other vulgarities, but the drama around main characters, true friendship, dignity and respect between Vorenus and Pullo compensated everything. I know both actors from Kingdom of Heaven and King Arthur, two great movies of the 2000s. Ahh.. they don't make films like that anymore

Was gonna mention. That was an even harder hit and more sudden. It was Showtime, though.

Yesterday I watched Dangerous Liasons, which is not a historical epic, more of historical drama with court intrigue (has some tasteful nudity as well, for example Uma Thurman frontal)
I recommend it to everybody, watched with my girl, both of the main characters are villains of the story, but that is what makes it so great

Insane it hasn’t come out yet?I mean what has it been 10+ years since his last book?

The ending was just so so bad. Even if it’s the ending in the books. I think they won’t rush it and Dany being the villain will make more sense

It’s like in a comic book movie when they kill off the characters main villain after 20 minutes of screen time for no fking reason.

The problem is, he isn't the only writer with writer's block or slow process, I'm still waiting for the third Rothfuss book of Kingkiller Chronicles.

All the hype this one had has already disappeared, and it's a shame, since it's amazing, basically Harry Potter for older kids/young adults

I gave it a shot I don't like the Dr. Who guy. The main girl and him are probably the two ugliest white people in the history of time. The girl looks like a 7 year old boy with fk'd up teeth.

I mean the show is about an incestious family, looks about right to me. Velaryon aren't black in the books, but I don't mind the change, at least we can clearly know who is who
