In perhaps the most meaningless game of the season they decide to show up.. Days after the pathetically collapsed in the game that could have actually gotten us to third.. Us simply taking the lead, would have definitely have been felt in the Roma game.. And us going down, made Totti, give Inter the last of the many "Fuck You's" in his fucking legendary career.
And then, today, look who remembered that he's a striker and that we could get him for "cheap". Watch us buy him and then struggle to sell his lazy ass that we won't be able to afford. I can't wait!
What a sad end to an actually promising season, it definitely had me believing in it for a while no doubt. But more and mroe it became clear that our players only give a shit about themselves and only play hard when their contracts matter. It wouldn't be so bad if these players were actually lighting it up, but in a season where we are going to embarrassingly but valiantly fail at an objective we spoke so loudly at meeting, why are so many getting contract extensions DURING THE FUCKING SEASON?!!! and not even short term either? If you're so fucking good why don't you prove it and earn even more money at the end of the season where they club can actually afford to pay you?! We do this and then wonder why the same group of players who played like they wanted to win against Juventus and beat them 3-0, aren't able to even score on a vastly inferior Genoa team?
We lack any sort of leader or any sort of identity. We shouldn't have pushed Zanetti out so quickly without ensuring his replacement. Ranocchia is ass. Icardi, like him or hate him should never had been made captain, at least not yet. But the fact that he is, should mean that if he is fit to play, he plays, just like Zanetti did. He is a striker, we don't have Europe, don't give be any bullshit about resting this season. It actually pissed me off to see shit like that. Look at what the fuck happened in 2010. Why the fuck are we even accepting this? This certainly isn't Mancini's doing either, he never did that shit back in 08 when he needed to win, in fact, we used to be pissed off at him for never resting his guys. Coaches don't change, and like him or hate him, Mancini has found a way to win in Italy and in England. These players and this nonsense is why we suck and our management sucks but what's new... It's the ending of April and I have nothing to look forward to. If these players were actually hungry we definitely had a chance to be right up there with Juve till the end. But then I remind myself, we sold our creative future for a shitty version of Olivier Dacourt. But then again I'm reminded we begged Madrid to take him, the kid left the club in tears.. With patience he could have been our Modric, instead because he got to Madrid so young, he'll never live up to his potential.
Kondogbia, 4 clubs, 4 years.. I'd get an Inter tattoo if Arsenal or some other foolish club made it 5 for 5. Inter is to Juve as he is to Pogba. Uggh, such a sad day 4/20 was..
