THIS. Guarin really needs to learn to play as part of the team. He seems to always ruin the flow of play with some sort of individual attempt, either at dribbling past too many players or trying to take a long shot. Yes, sometimes he does score the odd screamer but it takes him way too many attempts to do so, that's a lot of wasted possession and it's a detriment to the play of the team as a whole.

I think so, all it takes is the right motivation. A manager like Mourinho would be able to say the right things to really get him to understand how he would be more important to the team accepting his role than trying to force the issue. Like how he got a striker like Eto'o to sacrifice goal scoring to help the team in midfield.

If Mourinho somehow coaches Guarin he will be stormed off the training ground the next day. This guy is hopeless, wasnt he supposed to be a strong physical player with great long range shots? He seems to have a strong physique and yet he hardly win any duels in the middle of the field. He is 27 years old, been here since January 2012, other than the first 15 games under Strama, he couldnt find his form. He should be sold as soon as possible, he is hurting the team.
