I'm not German

I'm from the Vatican, can't you see my non-existent flag?

:eek:blivious:

I always thought someone with the name brehme has to be a German so my bad never noticed the flag before.

I'm gonna crawl back to one of the holes on the beach now.

Think I heard a stat recently that FdB is winless in something like his last 8 matches across 3 different leagues...

You can laugh at him all you want but he is the last Inter coach to win vs rube.
What he is opening up now is not something unbelievable. We all know our team is full of rats

Ugh.. goodbye.. I lived a good life, do not despair I'm at peace... but... but let me tell you about Inter... thing is... :skull::skull::skull:

yeah he sounds really bitter about the whole thing....and the fact that he was the last coach to win against jube says more about us then about his coaching ability or some objective quality he has.

wait, is he STILL talking about Inter? lol he should get a life.

by the way, keeping the group united is part of a coach's job, so he basically keeps shitting on himself.

Don't know why people are so against De Boer. In his short time here he made some tactical mistakes for sure but I felt like we got an early glimpse into his gameplan working at full potential (when we completely outplayed, and last beat juve) and then didn't see enough of that again. Part of that is on him for sure but I personally felt he deserved more time.

His post-Inter career has been laughably horrendous but I think that's partly a mismatch of him and the clubs he's working at. To greatly simplify things, I feel like de Boer has some decent technical skills and tactical knowledge, but not the means to back it up. He's probably too "highbrow" for the clubs he's recently managed, not to mention too stubborn for his own good. For example, I feel like if he took over at Barca tomorrow and all the players magically just respected him and did exactly as he instructed without question, he'd do pretty well. But as we all know, Crystal Palace is not Barcelona, and players do not magically respect you unless you prove yourself. And those seem to be his failures - enforcing a complex style of play on teams completely unequipped to play that way, without 'proving himself' and losing both on the pitch and in the locker room as a result.

I felt he was pretty likeable tbh. Whether people want to put his remarks regarding Inter down to bitterness is up to them but I didn't feel like anything he said was wrong. Put it this way, if Mourinho said about Man U, the same things de Boer said about Inter, most people would agree with him. Because Mourinho has 'proven himself'. Shame really. I feel like de Boer could be a good coach if he had a squad technically capable of executing how he wanted to play. But the world doesn't work like that. Even if you have the skills to be a great CEO, no company just gives you control of the company without you having proven yourself. You gotta work up from management etc. I'm not saying he's an elite coach by any means, but if de Boer is even a quarter of the coach I think he can be, he really needs to moderate his methods to better suit smaller teams for him to achieve some success and rebuild his reputation.

Honestly we shouldnt be offended by what FdB said we know the club is a clusterfuck, he came at a bad time I think he was probably one of the last of Thohir's decisions.

I think FdB was in a terrible position but the way he handled players like Kondogbia was ridiculous, subbing him after 15 minutes was humiliating, Kondogbia did much better with Pioli.

De Boer didn't say anything new in his last interview, but if we trust the translation made by Gazzetta there's an interesting addition:

"At Inter I had to talk too much [too many turns of words] with the management. One of them told me I wouldn't have lasted long as the Inter coach if I hadn't played his player. That's the kind of influence they have".

Huge if true (still, that's an old habit in football).

You don't get a praize to win against juve man. De Boers football is just pure shit, nothings else. He is one of the worst coaches ever that was at Inter.

man to each their own. I didn't hate him like I do hate Spallo. In fact I admired his approach and like Universe mentioned in his post "he deserved more time". Unlike baldie, De boer didn't have full preseason with the team and had to come up with something on the go. He didn't even have enough time to learn italian.

I still remember that joy when he and his assistants were celebrating that strong-willed victory against rubentus. I also credit him for playing primavera kid Miangue who wasn't bad and looked rather decent.

He never wanted to adapt his tactic in serie a, thats my problem with him. In erdivise or in serie b it could work, but not in Serie A. Even with a pre season he would have the same problems. And people can hate Spalletti how much they want's but he is our best coach after the triplete, and thats a fact. De Boer is just a idiot who thinks to be a great coach which is ridiciolous.

Frank de Boer has claimed that agents ran Inter and ‘took up 50 percent of my time’ during his ill-fated reign in 2016.

DeBoer-1610-badge-epa_8_0.jpg

In an interview with Yahoo Sports, Atalanta United coach Frank de Boar recalls the 84 torturous days (mostly for us fans!) of being on the bench of Inter, telling some background details:

“At Inter, we spent so much time dealing with politics, with agents, that took up 50 percent of my time, when it should have been 10 percent.”

“A [player’s] agent told me, ‘If I’d known you weren’t going to start my player, I would never have hired you as manager.’ - That’s how much influence he had on who was in charge.”

> Thank if you also believe it was Kia.
