I don't know why people feel so passionate about this, but whatever. Personal insults towards other forum members will not be tolerated in any capacity. If you can't post in this thread without insulting someone, this isn't the right place for you to be right now.

Accusing someone of opining about someone only because of the color of their skin is way, way more offensive than receiving a simple "fuck you".

Try "you're only saying that because you're black" on for size in your head, and then maybe give me a rough estimate of how many seconds you'd need to hand out a warning or ban. 5? 10 maybe?

Not so fast 🤭

Saturday’s reports suggest that the FIGC have been unable to find audio evidence of the exchange between Acerbi and Juan Jesus.

No trace in the referee's report and the VAR audio. I though Juan Jesus said Acerbi apologized to the ref as well? Maybe the ref is a racist too and trying to cover for acerbi lol

From the findings, Juan Jesus is blowing smoke or just misheard. People hear what they want to hear.

The N word originally also just meant black/dark if we go down that road… but as so many other words throughout history it largely changed into a new meaning, but at first it was also context dependent. Today the word itself is viewed as something negative, but has not always been so.

In Italian it depends on how the word is used, in other words context dependent. This is after all what the whole debate is about, Acerbi say it was just a common none offensive phrase (violence), JJ state it was in a racist phrase. So no we cannot conclude it wasn’t, it all depends on the other words used.

No, JJ claimed that he said n*gro, which is different than the word black Nero. He probably misheard and made a big deal out of nothing instead of asking Acerbi to clarify.

In Portuguese “N***” means exactly the same as nero so he ain’t wrong, although there is other words for black.

In both languages it’s context dependent and even country dependent

What are you talking about dude? Why would Acerbi speak Portuguese to JJ. JJ claimed that Acerbi said "Vai via nero, sei solo un n*gro". That's italian.

JJ mother language is Portuguese, it’s not really odd to translate one word to another.

Again n means the same in Portuguese as Nero in Italian.

The N word doesn’t exist in Italian, whether he said N or Nero or Nero was somehow translated into N in JJ ear doesn’t really change a thing in latin language, N word doesn’t necessarily mean the same thing as in none Latin language, it’s contextual whether it’s negative and racist.

Again it boils down to whether or not Acerbi expressed that sentence or the one Acerbi so far have hold on to. It doesn’t make a whole lot of difference if he said N word or Nero in a Latin language, because both fundamentally means black.

I think people think that really matters because they aren’t latin speakers themselves.

He can't fucking prove anything, cause Acerbi will say I meant Nero, not N.... Case closed. Save Federal Persecutor office for Mafia cases or Juve corruption.
