Agreed, I expect a massive season from Lautaro now that he is the main focal point of attack and captain.

IMO he’s getting better and better each season too. We all give him a hard time for his inconsistency in front of goal but honestly, very few strikers don’t go through dry spells. And let’s not forget he was often paired with Dzeko last season. They had no chemistry at all. Correa was Correa and Lukaku was injured and/or useless 75% of the season. Give this man a good partner who can play to his strengths and he’ll flourish like never before.

Agreed. I actually don't think there are many strikers in the top 5 leagues that have had consecutive 20+ league goal seasons in the last two years. Does anyone know? I would assume the list is very short.

Interestingly enough that's the full list. If we do count France as a top 5 league (I think it may be after this season?), Lautaro is one of only 4 players to have scored 20+ league goals in consecutive seasons.
