yeah seems valid. Prefers Inter but meanwhile agrees with Monaco :D

if he did that agreement wit Monaco, then he shouldnt come here. It shows his ambitions exactly. if he has the chance to go to the CL-finalist, one of the topclubs of europe as a starter, and after this he would wants to join for a fucken Monaco?!?!
I think he just wants out of Arsenal. Arsenal wants too high a price for him. He'll probably be out on loan again soon. He'll be pissed, but he really has no leverage it appears. Inter should just move on, like with Scamacca; here's the offer take or leave it.

Also Monaco has enough money to build an interesting team, while we can barely get Balogun if at all

this seems kinda reactionary

bro, theres no guarantee Inter will meet his asking price, and he's made clear he wants to start, as a permanent player, next season. Of course it makes sense for any club interested in signing him to make sure he'd actually want to move to them if they agreed a price. It takes 3 to agree a deal...

They know that we are desperate and in contrast to our negotiations they don't drop the price in record time 😂

Yeah but there is no way we can afford their asking price which is reported to be 50mio...
So either they dropp it they pray for a 3rd party to swoop in or they re stuck with him

Yeah we should just skip this. We don't have a "pact" with Balogun so we shouldn't waste time in this and probably won't even if the media keeps us entertained.

Then if Balogun keeps pushing it, by all means.

What is his price tag?
TBH I dont think anyone knows. He mvoed for 3.5mil in Jan, but I bet he's at least 15-20mil now. Could quite easily be more, too. Someone on that 'trajectory' is a question of how much a buyer will pay

His value is 20m in the transfermarkt. I didn't expect this amount for him, tbh. couldn't find any apporopriate highlights of him in youtube so I can't comment on him. sounds big gamble to me.

I've seen a couple of videos but more than anything he's gone from like amateur to pro in like 2 seasons and just breaks goalscoring records every time he plays at ever progressively higher levels. It's just incredible, he's kinda the exception that proves the rule about how hard and regimented it is to break through

I wouldn't really trust transfermarkt figures there was a big thing recently where they were accepting money from agents to inflate their player values for example

Yes he's a fucking huge risk but he could also be amazing. It's not normally the sort of risk I'd advocate for but at least in this case he's in a position of having never had a bad season - which kinda contrasts him to eg balogun.

Huge risk but I'd love to see us take that kinda risk and it's the sort of thing id be ok with considering Thuram too

Never any doubt. Same thing will happen if we go after Orban or Wahi or whoever. Weeks of reported interest and potential offers only for some doormat EPL club to casually throw 40mil in cash on the table on a whim

should have looked outside of Premier league anyway. Like you said, they throw out insane prices for pretty much nobodies.
