Did we get a scandalous call in our favor? Milanisti are crying rivers of tears. I didn't watch the match so i am curious if something happened or they're just imagining things.

Well, Dimarco could have been sent off there. There's that.

Dimarco should probably have been sent off, but also the play had ended so it shouldn’t have been a penalty.

They’re also crying about a Dzeko foul in the buildup to the winner, while forgetting to mention that Jovic throws De Vrij about for their 3-3 equaliser.

All in all, they’re crying because they’re Milan fans.

Definitely, that's a straight red card. If it happened to Milan, some FIFers would have cried too

Correa just messed up as usual. At the beginning of the last season, he seemed great but after his injury, he is totally useless.

I'm happy we won but I don't like the style and the way we win. the defense is totally shit. I think Skriniar's concentration is gone and that's the reason we can't defend well like before.

Tottenham v. Newcastle on right now and Lenglet just made contact on Newcastle striker, Wilson, in the box with studs up, no foul, no penalty, no card. Can argue that Lenglet’ a foul on Wilson was worse because contact was instant and not after the strike. They replay it and no intervention by VAR.

I’m mentioning this because it was a similar situation to Dimarco’s so called foul on Benaventura on the follow through.

Maybe I’m being biased but I don’t understand how a follow through foul, which ref doesn’t call in real time is awarded as a penalty.

Maybe I’m missing something or don’t understand the rules.

Lenglet went to block the shot and Wilson kicked in Lenglets foot. Dimarco was late and just slided in the side of the knee of the attacker, which looked way worse than the tottenham stuff... still have no idea how dimarco didnt even get a card.

If it wasn’t for Dimarco studs showing, would VAR have intervened yesterday?

The contact for penalty awarded yesterday, even with the studs showing, was minimal and after the sequence of play.

If the penalty was awarded due to the studs showing than that is dangerous play and not just a penalty.

If it was just for the contact and deemed and not dangerous then why award the penalty?

The ref seems to have deemed the play to be soft contact and to appear fair awarded a penalty but thought it would be too harsh to also red card Dimarco.

maybe, but the biggest problem for me remains that left side with Basto/Acerbi -Dimarco. Something need to change, almost every goal we concede comes from that side.

at the penalty Dimarco made a totally useless foul and was lucky that he didn't got a red. Then he was sleeping at the second, leaving Acerbi alone in the defence. If he likes to play offensive he can play with Lautaro next time, instead of Correa. But please Inzaghi, fuck off with Dimarco as LB, he SUCKS there.

A Gosens - Bastoni left side would be as solid defensively as it gets.

This was also our first league penalty of the season.
Rightfully so because we don't have dribbler (let's not count Correa) and our attack is shit.
And the ref was very scandalous but this time in our favor. If we were at the receiving end then we would scream calciopoli as well.

Simply absurd game. It’s unforgivable how often we fuck up while in the lead. Most of our losses seem to come from winning positions.

Like I said the other week we must be the only team out there white odds to win decrease after going a goal up.
