This thread was opened over a year ago & it hasn't even reached a second page yet??????????

Devious, gorilla, dyna, AUW crew... getcho asses here! We got shit to do in this motherfucker. :closeenough: Spam the shit out of it. Post memes & yao mings. Give free thanks just to make sure.

It's probably because most talk of FFP happens in finincial health of Inter or the the fuck platini threads.

Sky sources: City been fined £50 million and had their squad for next seasons champions league limited to 21.

Martyn Ziegler ‏@martynziegler 25m
Man City's FFP sanctions: 21-man CL squad instead of 25; 60m euro fine over 3 years; no rise in CL squad wage bill allowed. Same as for PSG.

Disappointing tbh. Inter has paid about that much over the course of the season as punishment for racial slurs from the curva ???

FFP is vague. How can a regulation of such importance not have a suitable disciplinary action that is directly related to its intentions ?
Whats important to note is that UEFA has stated that a club may be punished with a ban on European competition. This is very different to will be banned.

It will be interesting too see what punishment UEFA will deliver. If you introduce a monetary fine for a club breaching the regulations, then it goes against the objective of the regulation. 'If your in too much debt, we'll punish you by adding to your debt' :p

lol

More than that. Squad size is limited to 21 rather than 25 and they should also include 8 home grown players in that squad. That means only 13 foreign players and only Hart and Milner (and to an extent Rodwell) are of any use from Home grown status players assuming they will sell Richards, Sinclair.

Also they can't increase their wage bill which means they have to sell before they buy.

There will be lot of unrest among the squad if only 13 foreign players can be selected.

Zabaleta, Kompany, Clichy, Kolarov, Silva, Nasri, Yaya, Aguero, Dzeko, Navas, Negredo, Fernandinho, Nastasic, Jovetic, Pantilimon

There are 14-15 players and 2 of them should be dropped and this is without adding any player to their squad.

Someone said, too, that they were only allowed to have one more player up to 60 million euros into their squad or something? Presumably this only applies to the CL squad rather than domestic, too.

but we are supossed to be without the 80 mil debt...45m€ debt max...that's the whole point...so I don't understand the money penaltys...what a mindfuck this ffp is

If this penaltys go threw soon the big clubs will creat there own Champions league and exclude UEFA and their stupid rules

That's what you get when Rube's legend is given the task to improve European football. :troll:

Rich clubs will remain rich under the current FFP setup. Only if someone insanely rich decides to invest in some small team's big stadium or youth. Small teams usually don't have fans to fill that stadium or reputation to attract staff and prospects. So they just froze things. PSG's and Shitty's punishments are basically the delayed price for catching the train later than the others. Also the whole thing might be illegal, if not ethically suspicious.

I'm reasonably okay with stopping shit like PSG happening, but at the same time, I agree it is shit to prevent investment. You basically keep rich clubs rich forever, and poor clubs have no chance of doing well short of signing amazing fucking players very cheaply and getting huge profits on them, which is stupid.

Among City and PSG, Zenit St. Petersburg, Rubin Kazan, Anzhi, Trabzonspor, Bursaspor, Galatasaray and Levsky Sofia (wtf?!) were also sanctioned for breaking FFP regulations.

I'm wondering how Chelshit escaped this...

They actually have revenue because they've been a rich team for a while now. They have already built their brand unlike teams like PSG and City who are still buying their fans.
