Ofc I dont hate Messi,and I cant stand Penaldo. If Argentinians won this without help of refeeres I would be first to congratulate them. The worst thing was that they played really well,whole knockout stages, they were better than France in most of the game, but after terrible decisions made by refs that helped them through the whole tournament and VAR being silent whole fkn time, you cant say that was some mistake or accidental. It happened almost in every game and where was fuckin VAR, no checking at all. No way this was just some mistake, too many times this happened trough the tournament. I wont say it was rigged but there was a pressure for making advantageous decisions for Messi and Argentina. So its not fair and square, no way.

Most people I know supported Argentina and I doubt it was different in other European countries. I think in Europe people support other NTs much less just because they're from the same continent. In the round of the last 16 I supported Croatia because I had a very nice holiday there. And that's it.
