Am I the only one who finds that 7m loan fee for Pastore is indeed a bit excessive? This doesn't mean that I'm defending Suning. They can go fuck themselves for not making up for their Kia blunders last year.

Yup..... if it included his wages fine but that is just insane for a guy who isn’t world class. Barca loaning is Luis Suarez fine that is an ok loan amount but Pastore isn’t the same player who left Italy. Clubs know we are just insanely desperate and are bent over to get rammed

When we had unmotivated and overpaid Sneijder in our books we didn’t manage to get more from 8-9 milions for him and he was only year older from Pastore and he had way better previous 3-4 years.

I am sorry we’re not getting the man but price is just too high.

Jesus Christ, some many drama queens  Have you all forgotten Suning are under Chinese restrictions? They wouldn't say no to signing Pastore (in fact, they can buy him out right) if government restrictions and FFP wasn't the issue. So far, they are doing their best they can to clean the massive financial mess they inherited from previous ownerships and increase our commercial revenue. Despite the recent disappointments, I'm more glad to have Suning as owners than Thorir and Morratti.

Besides, we should be looking for talents in the domestic league where there are plenty of good players who cost less like Luis Alberto, Felipe Anderson, Denis Praet, Lucas Torriera, and Byran Cristante.

Yeah, he is not exactly that worthy, but we're not talking here like we have a complete squad, we win scudetto once every few years, and we reach semi finals of CL every year. You all talk like we're at the situation Man City, Bayern, Barcelona or others are at. We're not. They can have a luxury of passing on a player, we don't. And if there was a better player than Pastore right now with as high probability he will help as as much, we should go for him. Which player is that?

My point is, that yes, Pastore would be overpriced, but the chance of getting to CL is just too important at the moment. Plus, our team needs a big shakeup, and it doesn't look like some talk in the dressing room will be enough. If that's not enough, personel shakeup is always the next best thing.

Apparently our "restrictions" don't keep us (again) from commiting to 15mln deal in the summer that is apparently coming. So what are those restrictions again?

He isn't the choice most of us would want but what choices do we have with the little funding we have..and we needed a trequartista since last season. So with less than 7 hours to go in the transfer window it's acceptable to put on our gowns and act like "drama queens".

The Chinese restrictions are BS...they can caugh up their foreign funds,if they wanted
It's their will not to go against the Commie government and UEFA rules
The Chinese people are obidient people... Rules are everything to them I imagine

You're all exaggerating. By the end of the day we'll have one of Pastore or Gaitan, I don't understand why people are getting mad over sunning not overpaying. Maybe they've learned from their mistakes. You can't fault them for their spending on joao mario and gabigol. They're owners, they just pay the money they don't scout the players. You can blame those purchases on your sporting director. For years we've complained about being low balled when selling players and overpaying when buying them.

The reason I'm confident is because both players are getting minimal playing time with their clubs and it's a world cup year. They're the ones who will be putting pressure on their clubs to sell them.

Cost less? Lazio are notorious for asking a lot of money for their players. Even when a player had a crap season for team and was older like Hernanes cost 20 million a number of years ago when prices were not as high.

Rumours are Atalanta want close to 40M for Cristante. Lazio will not sell Luis Alberto for cheap to Inter. Not sure where you're getting the idea these players would cost less.

Not saying in fees, I mean in actual value like 30-40m for a 30 year injury prone benchwarmer is bad value compare to paying the exact amount for a younger player with potential to become better like Alberto, Felipe Anderson, and Cristante.

dude, it's not like we all have been on planet mars and you only were here. we already know it's about chinese restrictions. but that cannot be used as a good for all excuse. we are talking about coughing up a few mil for pastore, in a season where we have an actual chance to make it to champions league. they have to find a way or they can fuck off

Meh apparently Sassuolo want to buy Pinamonti.

Duncan might be coming back in the deal, I heard the rumour that if Pinamonti leaves there could be the money for Pastore but there's no time for that.

Honestly, those big clubs also have the luxury to afford losses on unpredictable transfers. We don't have that luxury.

Over-spending on transfers that could go either way is exactly what got us into this situation. From now on and regardless of Suning, we should be extremely careful and consider all possibilities with every euro spent. I like Rafinha's deal. Any sign of mediocricity and we can send his ass back without costs. We can't afford more shitstains like Mario and Gabionegoal stuck around the club.

I'd reject Pastore's deal too. 7m is too much waste down the toilet in case he flops here. That's the same amount we've sold an important player like Banega for. I'd rather just continue with Brozovic and Rafinha. Pastore isn't a world beater and he won't guarantee us the CL.

Yes, Ferrero did say that Torreira is worth 40-50 million but I read he has a 25 million release clause.

we are talking about the same club here, right? Internazionale football club based in Milano. i'm asking because this is a sentence i would expect if we were talking about a club not in dire need of quality in the midfield.

Sassuolo negotiating for Inter's Pinamonti: the details

Sassuolo are thinking about another young striker and they are negotiating for Andrea Pinamonti. The young Inter striker has 27 goals in 57 appearances for Inter's primavera team. Sassuolo are looking to bring in the striker on a definite transfer without inserting Alfred Duncan into the formula. Sassuolo Director General Giovanni Carnevali still has to confirm it.

Duncan would add nothing but more blandness to an already sub-mediocre midfield.

So Pastore's not coming? Great :palm:

The owners must take a huge L if we don't qualify for the Champions League because this is our best opportunity yet.

Pastore is a probable good addition, but he isn't a guaranteed world beater. He's not worth the 7m loan fee. Just because we desperately need new midfielders doesn't mean that we should go apeshit and waste our already restricted budget. Rafinha's deal suits us more. PSG are being stingy greedy bastards.
