Sassuolo is getting two new forwards - Lorenzo Lucca from Pisa and Luca Moro from Padova. They are both hot prospects from lower Italian leagues. They will be probably Scamacca's replacement for the new season.

Kolarov is replaced by Gosens. We'll need a Perisic replacement sooner than another center back, in terms of quantity at least. Provided that Dimarco is now a standard LCB.

I also wanted Zakaria but it doesn't matter anymore. It's in the past. The problem is as things stand Gagliardini is the only bench option in midfield we have for 2022/23. Vecino and Vidal are leaving while Sensi is a lost case. We're going to need at least two new midfielders in the summer. Even if we assume one of them is going to be Frattesi, we also need someone who can play both in Hakan and Brozovic positions. No idea who could be when we have limited funds.

honestly, we say that now, but look at our last big prosecpts the the primavera - Andrea Mira is playing Serie D/B, Lorenzo Crisetig is playing mid-level Serie B.

Frattesi- Bonaventura- Gags could be our second line-up next season. Not my idea, but I find it good. Frattesi to be developed and needs to play a lot. Bonvantura as emergency back-up plus respiro for Brozovic. Ang Gags is Gags.

I always liked Bona since his Atalanta days but he's 32-years old and injury prone. Very bad combination. I would only consider him if the salary is ridiculously low.

Guarin. We had an agreement with Atalanta for Bonaventura but it depended on Guarin's departure who refused to leave. Good times. Back then our mercato was considered good when we signed guys like Dodo, MVila, Osvaldo, Medel and Vidic.
