No surprice really, 30m for a gamble that has only played in smaller leagues isn’t exactly selling itself. We seen rather mediocre players delivering similar numbers in those leagues before.

Yeah, Klaassen seems to have a very good goal scoring record everywhere bar Everton, not just in the Dutch league. Checking transfermarkt, in his two seasons for Werder Bremen, he has 7 goals 6 assists in his first season, and 9 goals 7 assists in his second season.

After reading up everything he sounds like a poor men's Thomas Muller to me, not sure how much he deteriorated, or hopefully he will find himself back this year just like De Virj. 6th or 7th midfielder as an impactful sub? Very suitable for 3-5-1-1 too, adds a new element to our list of possible tactics. Feels we are attempting to get through this season with creative and versatile approach. I like this new Inter post kidult Lukaku.
