Icardi's salary is 4.x + bonus, probably bonus is active now as we are in CL so safe to say his salary is around 10m€ gross (little less).

5m€ loan fee is obviously ridiculous but we had no leverage.

Don't have one.
Icardi's salary is just shy of ~5mil. So it's about +10, no way to stretch it to 15.

I'm starting to think that PSG operates on raw locker room cancer fuel, when are they going to learn their lesson.

Maybe cancer in this case will stay in milan and like a good housewife raise the kids and keep her mouth shut.

FFP made us accountants.
Icardi's lawsuit made us lawyers.
Watching the likes of Candreva and Vecino made us zen monks.

Being an Inter fan might be tough but it's literally the university of life.

Skriniar
Honestly I do enjoy that part of the sport. It gives a lot of insight into our club and what we can and cant do. Brehme put a nice argument about RoI for man United on another thread and why they're fairly willing to accept mediocrity.
It also explains why, for example, we are so bad at selling players, etc.

Agreed. Even though we are not under the settlement agreement, FFP still holds in broad terms. It's better to monitor it, because if we suddenly have to sell Skriniar, at least we will know how we got there.

Ya. Until we are a heavily cash rich company, we're always going to need to think about FFP to understand our director's thoughts. With the increasing sponsorship money and increasing revenue from CL, etc, the pressures will ease, but until we hit, say, 500 mil a season revenue, we're going to have to be very cash conscious.

i wish we would, but it is unlikely, tbh. frmo ac ommercial perspective its hard to know, given all the loans this season there's a lot of uncertainty on what our financial position is publicly

I'm a bit sad we didn't even try for Meunier. He would've been a beast for Conte on the RWB. I read some rumours just now PSG are pushing him out, Valencia might be interested.

Lautaro
Alexis
Lukaku
Politano

We are done in attack, only if Borja Valero leave we could get another midfielder and with Rakitic staying in Barca this could be Vidal, but the chance Borja to leave is very low... his agent confirmed many times over the summer that he will stay until the end of his contract - next summer...

Confirmations from Sky Icardi and Wanda have left Milan with a private flight.

Hypothetical question, how do we feel about Verdi? We really wanted him a year or two ago. His deal with Torino fell through and I can't help but feel exposed with motherfucking Candreva and still anonymous Lazaro on the right flank. A typical Inter loan could maybe be an option, he is valued at around 20m right now, his price going on a slight downward curve.

I dont know how to feel about this. Losing Icardi is not good, but after everything that has happened - Even though they were only voicing what half the forum said back then, how he needed better service... The moment he made Wanda his agent was a big mistake. At the end of the day he was about interista as one could get, nobody can deny this. I dont approve they way that Juve fucker dealt with him, but such is life.

We will see how this season turns out and we will see how the majority of our bipolar fanbase stands towards him at the end of the season.

Assuming the rumor is correct (loan 1 year + option 70m + Icardi extends the old contract till 2021), it is a good deal indeed, much better than let him stay, because:

- increase the chance of him getting bought (P$G, or other teams). No one pays big for a player without football.

- in both cases, we can freeze Icardi up to 2 years. But free him to Juve the closer to 30yo, the less harmful it is.

- recently Icardi & Wanda have rejected many good offers because they don't want to move. Not the case anymore. Now they will get used to moving house, know it's not that bad and more likely to accept abroad destinations.

- if Icardi plays well, we could sell him easier. If not, he (they) would be more humble and aware that he isn't bigger than the teammates. Win-win situation.

According to Pedulla, it's a free loan with option to buy for 70m.

They offered 5+65, we told them we want 75m total. No idea where the deal closed, it's somewhere in between with both values inclusive, but it's a closed deal.

PSG will announce him later today.

He will earn 7.5 at PSG, not sure if that starts from this season or when the option is exercised.

What’s the alternative? Pay him ten million, just so he can keep polluting the locker room?
