Apart from the goal, he absolutely did nothing. He's slow, isn't skillful. Simply no future at a big club. Poor signing.

Jimmy is about to jimmy you.

No, I've given up about this forum and its member alltogether actually. It's a new era where we call our own players cunts, make fun of our own fans and we just bash the shit out of everyone that is involved within the club. And if we don't do that, we post semi-naked pics instead.

Fuck knows where the management fucked up, but this is a sad, sad forum nowadays, with some exceptions.

I can only look at you for example. You make a joke out of me, because I've stood up FOR OUR OWN and who scored in the derby and showed such emotion, in a comment that itself was the same, bashing one of our own. It just doesn't make any fucking sense.
I want the old FIF back, this is just a bashing forum. I'm just waiting for it to be become very racist as well, it's only a matter of time, because the posters here have an intelligence similar to one.

I wasn't bashing Schelotto at all. Time will prove me right

Jimmy, you're getting tired of the cynicism.

No doubt there's a lot of negativity on this forum. Deep down, no worthy 'fan' thinks that negatively. I call players cunts all the time, much like I call my close friends cunts all the time. My approach to this club is like my approach to friends or family. It's easy to say negative things because of how close you consider yourself to the club due to the strong emotional value the club holds. And at the end of the day, no matter how much friends or family fuck up, they remain friends or family. I think most members feel similarly. Many here are not good at expressing both sides of how they feel and a considerable factor is that being an online forum, the manner and meaning in which an opinion is emoted is hard to tell at times. Let's also not forget that many members aren't perhaps 100% comfortable with English, but still attempt to make an effort. These are considerations which when I take into account, makes me realize that on the whole, the forum is a good place.

Let's look at the Schelotto case: I am grateful and immediately grow to respect a player who got an important goal for us and showed such emotion too. Reading his recent interviews on inter.it suggest he's a smart and polite guy too. One who seems like a pleasure to have at our club. But, at the end of the day, what are we going to do with a limited, right-sided midfielder? I didn't want him, and I still don't. But I know that in reality, he IS here, so I hope he'll do well. Fair? There are very few players whom I dislike on a 'personal' basis. There are none at inter. Of the players here, I respect them all and appreciate their efforts, and genuinely hope they can perform as well as possible. But realistically, that isn't going to happen. As much as I've been defending Nagatomo recently, I've been a huge critic of him since day 1. He's average in attack, useful at best, and unreliable in defense. So I'll state my opinions on those weaknesses. The appreciation for his effort and work is a given. Understand eh? Same goes for Jonathan. I really do appreciate that he is trying his best, but his best is crap.

Sorry for the long post, I tend to ramble when I'm drunk and I had a loooooooooooooong train trip on the way hone frlm the city. Anywang, if you don't take all that shit I said into considerTion, all you're going to see is the negative stuff without the key assumptions of immense affection for the club. And if so, the only one who's going to suffer from it is you.

so we dont need his goal, right? :yao:

some people here spent half of their posts just to bash our players, and the other half to show their admire to the guy who threw our shirt. :notbad:

People just need to be a bit more open minded, way to many armchair experts here who think they know it all about a player from FM or FIFA or watching Serie A highlights and are to quick to write a player off. They are quick to point out the Rocchis, Quaresmas and Jonathans. But what about the likes of T.Motta, Milito and more recently Palacio and Juan Jesus?

The fact that some people were up in arms about the prospect of signing players like Cavani, Alexis Sanchez and Mascherano who apparently "weren't good enough for Inter" at the time should remind them to sit down, shut the F up and don't be so quick to judge a player. There seems to be a mob mentality here, where one of the more respected or popular posters will share a negative opinion and then all of a sudden half the board will latch onto it.

Schelotto was horseshit vs Siena, directly responsible for 2 goals conceded, but his 2 appearances since then in limited time have been more than decent, I'm willing to give him at least until the end of the season before making a judgement, he may turn out great or he may not. And I'm not saying management have't made mistakes, severe ones especially the last 12-24 months but I'm fairly certain if Moratti listened to half the transfer experts here we would be in twice as worse a situation as we are now.

I agree, but let's don't be so hasty in grouping Rocchi with Quaresma, which is ironic considering with what you're saying in this post.

He'll flourish with Milito out and others in need of a rest.

Give the guy until next season and he'll repay your faith in him.

Rocchi just needs one more year and he'll be scoring for fun. He just took this last year off from scoring as preparations for what is coming. Lets face its kind of a bless in disguise that he didn't score in the last year because had he scored there was no way we would have gotten him so cheap which was the best part of the.....wait the only part of the deal.

Oh and Schelotto scored against Milan he's a fine player.

Well, Schelotto could do well with a pay rise, that's for sure.

We need to make sure he doesn't get lured away by the likes of Barca and Madrid.

Madrid needs a player like him to play RWB. I bet Mourinho is looking at him, only a matter of time before they come in.

A pay raise sounds good maybe we can make him take a pay-cut after the raise in the summer.

I actually thought he was poor bumping here and there like a pin ball sometimes he gets ball going and sometimes he doesn't. Only move I liked from him is the way he set up Cambi who should have done better with that chance but I don't think he realized he had more time.

I thought he played great today, not only with great determination the whole game (unlike the rest of the team), but I thought he showed good skills with the ball today. He also looked calm with the ball, he gave the pass to Palacio for the first goal, and a BOSS pass to Cambiasso that he nearly scored. Keep it up!

That moment when he was able to rescue the ball, and then tried to hold it for a while alone while surrounded by 2-3 Catania players sums up our issues. Why was he so isolated? Why was no one supporting him? Surely, in the time that he spent fighting with them, our RCM and RB at least should have been able to reach and support him.

Played decent, impressive fighting spirit tbh.

Decent in the attack, and always first to come back to help out in defense.
