Its not a meningless match, though. Its a match we deserved because we didnt make the Champions League. We were there, and not any further, by merit. The fact that our name is Inter is irrelevant if our team is shit.

Simple as that.

Think he's joking

You can keep crying about it while the football world rejoices that this shitshow is close to over :) you should spend your time re-evaulating how passionate you are for a clubs financial books that you gain nothing from, compared to caring about the actual sport itself.

Our financial situation will be fine. Theres no immenent absolute doom over our shoulders.

It's clear to see who on this forum enjoys football and enjoys INTER and the values this club stands for, over those who don't care for any of that.

There isnt a valid argument backed by any reason or evidence in your statement. You're spouting emotional nonsense.

- - - Updated - - -

your question doesnt even make sense ttbh.

I can see how it doesn't makes sense to you. If it did, you'd understand the driver behind the Super League concept and its immense benefit to a club like Inter.

- - - Updated - - -

What kind of strawman argument is that?

I dare you to answer it.

Then show me otherwise that we are financially doomed and be sure to back up your attitude

Exactly. And that's why we celebrated our win against Lazio in 2017/18 so much. We earned CL qualification on the pitch. It wasn't granted to us for "historical reasons".

What kind of strawman argument is that?

I think he's saying that a greater portion of CL money should go to the big teams.

Presumably his ideal model is something like La Liga several years ago, when Barcelona and RM negotiated their own TV deals and left a pittance for all the other teams. Except this would've been even better, since top 4 race would become meaningless.

won't someone please think of the rich!! :(

Huh? What percent of Barcelonas budget does CL pay for vs Dynamo?

0, Barcelona is in 1.1b dollars of debt.
A super league wouldn't save barcelona, selling off all their top assets would though, and maybe not buying players left and right for 90m+ each...

Considering if you win the CL, you can bank something like 200+mil from tht laone ignoring match dy revenues, no, I dont agrree with that really.

That's ignoring all the additionl sponsorships, etc, that you can bank.

Super proud with English fans out in the streets protesting about this nonsense.Where are our guys?CN?Conte?Captain?Players?Nothing about all this from them?

I rather want nobody to go out and say anything. If they stand against it for "supporter" reasons it will make them look hypocritical. And I for sure don't want any high paid salary cunt player like Vidal to go out and say anything about "greedy" super league.

One thing I've noticed worldwide is the universal dislike for this. At least the consensus, thankful most get how much of a sellout move it is.

Nope. Before exceptionals, Barca, Real made about 700m last year, Inter made 292m. I rounded up to 800m cuz, well, why the fuck not. It's still close enough.

The CL winner makes a total of 120m euros. You actually only get 4m from winning it. You get 12m for making the final. The rest of the money is broadcasting.

Your figures are wrong, or intentionaally misleading. You get £4m more for winning it than you do coming in 2nd place, but you get quite a lot of money to get there in the first place.
The total prize money the CL winner can make, ignoring draws and pool money nd wins in the group staage, is 82.45m. That's ignoring any broadcast revenue, etc. I'm also factoring in additional sponsorship revenue, bonuses, matchday income (we made 3.5m hosting Barca at home, for example).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Champions_League

Note the 'Prize money' section - every step is incrementl - e.g. making the quarters is 15m for group stge + 9.5m for R16 + 10.5m for quarters. If you go on to win it from there, you get +12m for semis, +19m for champions.

PSG made £120m last year between prize money + broadcast revenue, NOT counting any sponsorship bonuses, matchday revenue, etc.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...rs-Bayern-Munich-despite-final-heartache.html

These figures are typically quite significant - even for Inter, 3 sell out home matches is worth £10m alone. I dont know about our sponsorship deals, but I'd expect at leasat anoither 5-10m there.

NOTE these figures are old so the amounts are probaably more generous.

The fans all complain about the Super League because football is a "meritocracy", but when it comes to revenue splits, then its a giant Euro Commie party and each team should get the same amount for a win even though nobody is watching or driving ad revenue for a Krasnodar match. Small teams like this that dominate their home leagues year after year are not good for football because the amount they make from CL is so disproportionality high that nobody in their leagues can ever compete with them. And all of that revenue is UNEARNED, because they are being carried by these large teams. Dynamo can pay for all over their wages several times over from the Group Stage earnings alone. What does that do for a large club like Real Madrid, who ultimately drives revenues that attract the capital for tv rights and sponsors for UEFA. It pays for one marginally good player in the transfer market. Why dont you people get it? Football fans are irrational morons.
