The most hilarious thing was Perez said last night Laporta would speak today but Laporta leaked to the media he doesn't intend to speak about Super League anytime soon.

Even our management avoided speaking to the media before or after Napoli game like they usually do and they even cancelled Conte's press conference for the Spezia game.

If these reports about Chelsea and Man City are true, then hopefully this is the house of cards well and truly beginning to fall down and the rest soon follow. The vast majority of us don't fucking want this, doesn't matter which of these 12 teams (let alone fans of the "poors") we support.

Absolutely spot on, I was just about to write something about it. They needed a much better pr or spokesperson to explain it better while not sounding like a desperate dude who didn't have any choice or better packaged reasoning about it and not just oh covid fucked us, or we are in huge debt.

And before someone writes they couldn't make this competition liked by the masses even if they tried, there are gifted people and companies out there who could make hitler likeable to these brainless chimps on social media.

thats exactly my point. The bluff has been called, and its a disaster. Uefa now hold all the cards - their negotiating position is stronger than it has ever been. You can talk about net debt all you want, but ultimtely if other clubs are pulling out of the ESL ALREADY after 48 hours, its onlyy aa matter of time before all of England pulls out, followed by Barca, then Real, then its just 3 fairly mediocre clubs. Not very European and not very Super league.
