Infantino is a fucking hack himself. He couldn't even say that Super League players are banned from the World Cup.

Couldn't say it because he doesn't want it. He's just a whore like everybody else.

as for inter, we would have to sell 2-3 players like lukaku, lautaro and hakimi

This has more to do with the absolute mismanagement of the clubs the last 10 years than the corona crises.

Yes it would hurt me if we have to sell these players and we wouldn't be as competitive as we like to be but than we should make better decisions as a club. Tell me why clubs like Ajax, Porto, Sevilla and Dortmund which has less money to spend perform better in EUrope then Inter?

when i browse the sport pay tv forums etc, 90% of people who pays for watching tv want ONLY EPL/LALIGA and CL.

they watch like 2, 4 max games in a weekend. its all real, barca, city, liverpool etc. NOTHING else.

so most people want to watch ONLY teams with crazy money

As I said it is purely my opinion but for me football has last his real charm a long time ago. I think these are just the persons who will abandon their club if they have 1 or 2 bad years, so yeah the money is good now until the club starting to decline. As long as the walls aren't strong enough the roof will come down eventually that was my point about the financial part of football nowadays.

Definitely not.

Maybe they confuse fans with Instagram followers.

Also, the fans of these teams do not support their management's decision to pull this shit off.

Napoli have contacted the Super League in order to see if they can join.

The source is shit (CDS) but I can definitely see De Laurentiis doing this

Don't have one.
It baffles me that all these clubs in the ESL talking about more money and how much money they've lost during the Corona crisis.

Normal companies (unfortunately football clubs are companies nowadays) would cut their budget, seek new opportunities within the current work environment but not the football clubs. Instead of taking the Corona crisis as a starting point of reforms in terms of salaries and payment to agents etc they want more money so they can pay someone millions more. Maybe we should realize that the salaries in the football world are not sustainable, not now and not if you get another 300M a year. Football clubs are very good in spending all the money they have whether they need the players or overpaying is irrelevant for them.

They've lost them self in the football world and are not living in the real world and have some delusional thinking that they are entitled to certain things. I think a lot of people aren't interested in football as much as they where because of the crazy money which is spend in football and that takes the fun away. (the last part is purely my own opinion).

Why would they cut their expenses when they fully know by establishing this competition they will be masters of their own reality. For some greater meritocratic good? You can't be naive enough to think these clubs ever cared about anyone else but themselves.

In terms of someone being lost and not living in a real world I think only people that are being lost in all of this are people and fans who were romanticizing football and thought this current system will be enough to satisfy the biggest clubs with the largest fan bases and revenue.

Romanticized version of football that all of these fans are crying about on social media was dead the moment big money started coming into big clubs, the moment fans started praying rich sheiks takes over their club, the moment inter bought ronaldo for what is even in today's money enormous sum, the moment abramovich bought chelsea, the moment r. madrid bought ronaldo. Every time these things happen you had mini super league creation, people just didn't realize it. And after many years we finally reached the frontier and ultimate form of all of this and that's creation of superleague.

Definitely agree! If we’re gonna be stuck in this then having another Italian team wouldn’t hurt!

The problem about this situation is that Uefa and Fifa have been doing this same thing with their tournaments. When was the last time world cup wasn't about making money in the first place. Now they accuse the big clubs being creedy which they are but money matters in this world and allows to create possibilities. I don't think Agnelli and co are doing this for the money. They have enough money but they want to develop their football business in their own way.

If you take big money away from football then how many spectators it would attract? I sometimes like to go watch junior football games but there are not many people there if you take their parents away.

Trandition and history are big part of supporting Inter but I believe we here have become Inter fans because of Ronaldo, Mourinho, treble winning squad and so on and after thay we have read about this club history and traditions.

No because clubs like Real Madrid are 800M in debts and Barcelona even 1B in debts. That's a good argument to cut expenses if you want a healthy club. Not by getting more money because they will spend every last penny of it.

In terms of someone being lost and not living in a real world I think only people that are being lost in all of this are people and fans who were romanticizing football and thought this current system will be enough to satisfy the biggest clubs with the largest fan bases and revenue.

I'm the first to admit that I'm a romanticus and maybe you are right and I'm the one not living in the real world. But I'd rather hold on to these ''dreams'' than whore myself out to the highest bidder so I can feed my addiction.(If you know what I mean). The next step is that they are going to play Barcelona-Liverpool in Asia/America or the Middle East just so they can earn a little bit more money and shit on the fans.

Key point here is they not looking at fan, they're looking at market value. The way they show surveys and data to back ESL is market research, so Instagram followers count.
Perez said he's doing this to save football because in his point of view, the "market" is shrinking in future in young section. Morden football as a product has to adapt, I know he half-joked about reducing play time but in that sense he's not totally wrong. But that also confirms history, tradition, culture around football is gone to trash bin.

And if football is a product, don't be surprised if they change it so something else like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_sided_football

Ceferin: “Horrible project. Agnelli? I have never seen such a liar” - agree

Gravina: “Unacceptable and damaging for all football” - agree

UEFA: “The rebels immediately out of the Europa League and the Champions League” - if they truly sanction teams like this, guess which teams will suddenly have time to play mid-week against each other?

Cairo: “Andrea is a Judas. Now, he and Marotta must resign” - Agnelli is Judas but calling for resignation at this point is ridiculos

" By bringing together the best clubs and best players in the world, the Super League will deliver excitement and drama never before seen in football. "

> Seems like this has been achieved without even playing a single match in the "competition" :troll:

Money laundering, greed and a trash football product. Yep, the ESL is pretty much the extension of this "success". Actually, England topped the list for the first time since 2011 or something and was behind Germany even during their so called dominant decade.

"Fixtures will take during midweeks to allow clubs to still participate in their domestic leagues. "

"Games will be played mid-week, and all clubs will remain in their domestic leagues."

Um....what?

No, if you count the proclaimed 'fans'.

But in term of followings, any form of following, these clubs easily dwarf the rest of the club football world.
