Walter Samuel,
Maradona is a great player but he doesn't look like good as a coach...
Just look at the talents at Argentine today, and he struggles to bring Argentine to the WC finals...
If he thinks straight (unlike his water when he urinates) he should bring Inter's argentines
(Samuel, Zanetti, Cambiasso and Milito)
And he will likely only bring Milito to warm the bench :)

Perhaps, he should step on the pitch himself..

Maradona has already stated that Samuel will be in his squad, and he will most likely be the starting CB alongside Demichelis. Milito also has a good chance of going, but like you say, he will be a backup to Higuain. Cambiasso I already explained above. As for Zanetti, well Maradona has this strange theory of playing CBs at fullback to try and ensure the team is more solid defensively. This effectively rules out Zanetti. Stupid i know.

El Diego has shit for brains. Mascherano's got nothing on Cambiasso.
Diego prefers only one DMF and then veron and two offensive midfielders. He rates Mascherano's ability chase, tackle and close down space more than Cambiasso's 'reading' ability. And lets be honest, Mascherano is a better DMF, not a more complete midfielder, but a better destroyer, which is exactly what Maradona needs and wants.

agreed. theyre just different types of DMs

cambiasso has never been one to chase and win the 50-50s in the tackle.

i dont know why we're getting our panties in a twist over this. cambiasso deserves credit, but i dont mind him continuing to be underrated by everyone outside of inter. it just continues to work in our favour

Grande Cuchu again. He worked so hard the whole match, was totally crunchy in the end but he just fighted and fighted. True hero.

"We thank the president for all the sacrifices he has made so far that have made it possible for us to be here today, and now we can think about the Champions League final in Madrid."

He is a legend. He was simply awesome defensively today.

Can someone make a gif of when he steals the ball off Messi in the 73rd minute (I think?)?

I highly doubt if Cuchu will start! He is just too slow for the pace of UCL!

I had said this before the Chelsea match and I apologized after the 1st leg itself. I feel that I was grossly wrong about him, especially after his performances in the knock out stages. He has been immense, and pivotal in shutting down Messi in the 2 legs!

Anyone got a pic/vid? I wanna see this so much. I've been a disciple of Cuchu since his RM spell. Throughout all these years I've been moulding myself after him, esp in ball interception. (albeit failing miserably :D) So touched to see him crying on the pitch today.
