There was so much talk about his inability to perform when the tempo is high. But the fact was again proven that the problem is not Cuchu but the other CMs that play along side him. If they show good movement and are able to hold the ball, then we look an entirely different proposition.

I would like to apologize to Cambiasso. I've been a doubter of his quality, especially in CL games, but he was exceptional against Chelsea. Well done Cuchu.

Second that. Yesterday Cambiasso was immense. He doesn't qualify too well against faster opponent but in this kind of game, wow! He made so many well-timed blocks and controlled the front side of the defence very well.

Stop talking nonsense.

Cuchu is not good enough for high-paced CL tempo !!!

He sucks !!!

//edit: that was not a response to Cafe; He managed to squeeze his post before mine ;)

That's what I've said also couple of weeks ago ;)

Get this guy 2 world class box to box midfielders and he will contentrate on the thing he does best, and he will play like he never did before.

(at least 1 box to box midfielder).

Maybe Gerrard watched the game ? ;)

Sell Muntari, get Gerrard, Hamsik, Ranocchia, Castelazzi(free), Coutinho(already taken) and it will be the best Inter team I ever witnessed.

why only box-to-box, why not a regista to handle the ball and dictate the tempo of our game?

You mean like a combination of one Box-to-box and the other being regista ? I'm ok with that actually.

The most important thing for me, is to get midfielders who are comfortable on the ball, and are good (enough) in deffense, and also on the other end. I'm not expecting them to be a playmakers (typical) like Xavi for example. I just need players who are comfortable on the ball with excelent technique, and maybe some agility to fend off some aggresive closing down players.

That should help our team to better keep ball possesion if we need, and also to play more deadly counters.

Absolutely. IMO, a major factor due to which Cambiasso played so well over the 2 legs was the Age factor of Chelsea. I heard the commentator say that out of the 11 players on the field, only 1 was below 27 years of age and this allowed Cambiasso to express himself more freely and Chelsea legs just weren't able to nullify him. I'm sure Mourinho will bench him if we face Arsenal later on but take nothing away from his performances. Splendid.

Chelsea's team maybe old but no one can doubt their physical strength, no other team is close to them.

Thats a good theory A.l.i,

i remember after kalou was introduced he went around cuchu twice and one opened up a great shooting position but thank god it was a terrible finish.

having said that he definetley played a great match last night his defensive work was immense but i was particularly satisfied to see him make a few moves dribbling and a couple nice forward balls.

He may be superstitious or maybe he rushed to get ready and did not notice his socks were inside out. But it hardly matters, Cambiasso is brilliant and he can wear his socks however he likes!

Best attribute is his heart which rivals that of a lion. Watch his celebration of Maicon's recent wonder-strike. Il Chuchu may be our most passionate player. Love that man.
