So now Thohir is a hero? Only a couple of months here and he was called everything that a president of a football club can be.
Bipolar Inter fans strike again.
I've said it before - he'll earn respect by doing good deals, sacking idiots and making the stadium happen. Also, don't talk about the mercato 'success' until you see the new acquisitions play. What if D'Ambrosio and Hernanes totally fail? Is it Thohir's fault?
If he actually gets Zanetti, Cambiasso and co. to leave Inter in the summer, replace them with good players and also bring new people into the management, he might be the president we needed.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Moratti wanted to be loved, Moratti wanted to continue the 'family legacy' (which is why he thought he deserved to be Inter's president or smth like that), Moratti spent a lot of his money to achieve that universal love from Inter fans. I hope Thohir goes the other route and do the right moves that will not backfire like Moratti's usually did. I'm sceptical about him sacking Mazzarri or actually letting Cambiasso end his Inter career, but hey, I've been surprised before.
I am interested in this youth project he is talking about and bringing Inter to Arsenal's level. Since Inter doesn't have Wenger for a coach to stop transfers (like he did for Draxler), I do not expect us to be so stingy with the money, so you can already stop with the Arsenal zero tituli comments. It has potential, and I'd like us to make this youth project happen.
