LoL just saw those pictures, if D. Silva would be brought to Inter (no matter how old he would be) I would rename myself in real life to Lion Heart, yell AAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUW the whole season and demand LGI in the first game week, even if he scored two own goals.

Don't post D. Silva pictures on an Inter forum. I have a gentle heart, not a lion heart. Not yet.

So now Thohir is a hero? Only a couple of months here and he was called everything that a president of a football club can be.

Bipolar Inter fans strike again.

I've said it before - he'll earn respect by doing good deals, sacking idiots and making the stadium happen. Also, don't talk about the mercato 'success' until you see the new acquisitions play. What if D'Ambrosio and Hernanes totally fail? Is it Thohir's fault?

If he actually gets Zanetti, Cambiasso and co. to leave Inter in the summer, replace them with good players and also bring new people into the management, he might be the president we needed.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Moratti wanted to be loved, Moratti wanted to continue the 'family legacy' (which is why he thought he deserved to be Inter's president or smth like that), Moratti spent a lot of his money to achieve that universal love from Inter fans. I hope Thohir goes the other route and do the right moves that will not backfire like Moratti's usually did. I'm sceptical about him sacking Mazzarri or actually letting Cambiasso end his Inter career, but hey, I've been surprised before.

I am interested in this youth project he is talking about and bringing Inter to Arsenal's level. Since Inter doesn't have Wenger for a coach to stop transfers (like he did for Draxler), I do not expect us to be so stingy with the money, so you can already stop with the Arsenal zero tituli comments. It has potential, and I'd like us to make this youth project happen.

Thohir is not the president we want, but the president we need.
He is our dark (short) knight.

The criticism of Thohir is ridiculous. Did you guys really expect him to change everything in a month??

Thohir has been consistent about his plans from the beginning. He first wants to increase our revenues, before he makes any large scale changes in the team. It is the correct long term approach, and it will take a few years of rebuilding. Lets give him time to start implementing his strategy before we criticize him.

Considering the circumstances, I think Thohir had a sensible first mercato. Focused his entire budget on 1 quality player that the coach wanted, rather than 3-4 average players. It may take a few transfer windows, but if we follow this approach, we can only improve.

I dont see why we have to let go jz, cuchu and co when the problem is more on pereira, kuzmanovic, mudingayi, and some others. At worst, jz and cuchu would still be a good back up. JZ has not started much and we still run poor games.

JZ hasn't played a lot because our style of play is almost the opposite of everything about him. I'm sure he would start if we played a 4-defender system. He's the only veteran I want to renew for 1 more year.

i would only renew zanetti if we paid him minimum wage, tbh. he's a figurehead at this point and serves little footballing opportunity anymore, sadly, if any of his recent appearances are to go by.

Speculation also is that junior partner in Thohir’s original takeover, Rosan Roeslani, is also on his way out amid conflict with Asia Resource Minerals - formerly Bumi - over missing funds totalling $173m.

Roeslani, who missed a December 26 deadline to repay that amount, is seen as likely to see his shares at Inter bought out by either Thohir or Indonesian conglomerate the Bakrie Group.

Thohir is seen as holding 35 per cent shares at Inter, Massimo Moratti a 30 per cent stake and Roeslani and Handy Soetedjo believed to have split the remaining 30 per cent between them, although Roeslani’s investment remains unclear.

The total 70 per cent that Thohir, Roeslani and Soetedjo bought out in October cost an estimated €275m - €75m for the purchase, with a further €200m of debt taken on.

first we had MM who was a fan(ok he won a lot) but somehow an incompetent pres. overall. The reason we are in this mess now!

and now we have a fraud in the board!I bet my ass Bakrie group will get some shares from Roeslani!

:palm:

ah well...at least Branca will recieve a termination letter very soon...:epicwin:

It is said that Ausilio will be the sporting director till May and then ET wants to bring in either Sabatini or Leonardo or Baldini(tottenham tech. director)

I bet Thohir doesn't even know who the fuck is Sabatini or Baldini. Anyway, the first one would be the best option. Great director.

He was able to make more money from Michael Bradley than Branca from Sneijder :D
