Padang tribe in Indonesian is known as the best marketer but not because they are good seller, its because they all are stingy and not gonna lose a penny when they made a deals. The only way this shares trade deals will happen if Suning invest some in here and open their branch give some shares to Thohis so he can cash in right away, all big player like JD and Alibaba already open their branch here idk why Suning still not yet invest some money here. Thohir resists Inter exit

Erick Thohir is still the President of Inter and insists he won’t sell his 30 per cent of the club “until the time is right.”

He bought out the club from Massimo Moratti in 2013 and sold 68.55 per cent to Chinese conglomerate Suning Group in June 2016.

Despite not being particularly involved in the decision-making process, Thohir is still technically the President of Inter.

“Selling my shares is a business decision and we, as businessmen, always want to wait for the right moment to walk away,” Thohir told IDN Times.

“Don’t forget that I am till the President of the club, even if I am only a minority shareholder.”

According to Tuttosport, Thohir is eager to maintain the prestige of being Inter President, especially after they qualified for the Champions League.

He is branching out into politics, as yesterday he was appointed campaign manger to re-elect Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Suning, on the other hand, would prefer to complete the takeover and install either Steven Zhang or current Vice-President Javier Zanetti.

Inter President Erick Thohir is reportedly close to buying a majority share in English club Oxford United.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Thohir is ‘a step away’ from purchasing Oxford, who are 23rd in EFL League One after six defeats from their opening nine games.

It could also mean the Indonesian will sell his 31-percent stake in Inter to Suning Group, with Calciomercato.com expecting the transfer to take place ‘by the end of October’.

Thohir bought the Nerazzurri from Massimo Moratti five years ago, but the club experienced a period of stagnation under his ownership.

Suning Group could have a new Inter partner, as multiple reports state a Hong Kong investment firm will buy Erick Thohir’s 30 per cent of the club.

There had already been rumours this morning that Suning were dealing with a takeover bid.

However, Il Messaggero, La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia now note the investors are set to purchase Thohir’s remaining 30 per cent cut of the Nerazzurri shares.

Negotiations are believed to be at an advanced stage and could be finalised within two to three weeks.
