Why anyone in this world would ever even want Anelka in their stands baffles me beyond belief.

Cause Anelka is class and Man U needs a striker like Nico is...
Simple..

Tevez-Rooney-Anelka. It's a ridiculous surplus to requirements. They are trying to replace Louis Saha, but Anelka or the former two surely aren't willing to rot and sit on the bench. Not that simple, actually.

Liverpool fuked up again in the league. One or two more winless-match they will most likely be out of the league race again.

Liverpool and Milan should have two head coaches really; one for the domestic league, the other for the European competition.

Does a rotational system work after all in an overall view?
I don't think if you are aiming for consistency that this is the target, our key element that helped us play and win many games last season and till now is our consistency and stable formation, we never had a player who is good in one game not play the next unless he is injuried

take now for instance:
Ibra, Julio Cesar, Javier, Maicon, Cordoba, Samuel, Chivu, Maxwell
8 main polayers who the rest are being rotated only due to injury or such other reasons

That's key for being a champion in my opinion

Well, Liverpool are about to fail miserably in the Champions League aswell. Im not sure "the easy victory" against Marsielle will be so easy that everyone belives...

grear performance by Boro today and totally opposite from Arsenal.
No creativity which is normal when there is no Cesc, Hleb, Persie and even Diaby who can make something more. But those who played didnt fight enough. So I was dissapointed a bit. But still not scared.
No one is perfect and its not easy to win against so motivated team like boro was, without key players.

I dont see why ppl are now saying 'I told you...' and stuff.
Cause without key players the won at Villa, got draw at Newcastl and lost this one.Not great-but still...

Still top of the league...

i wont say i told you, but i did allude to it :D 4 points from a total 9 without those players. I said it once and ill say it again, if you lose those players for long term, your ****ed.

Arsenal is rank without them and its been clear as day past week or so.

So what you are saying is thatevery club should have 20 world lass players?

Where would liverpool end if gerrard, carragher, torres, and pick 2 more get injured?

Or if rooney, tevez, ronaldo and pick 2 more get injured?

Drogba, J.Cole, Lampard ...

Those are normal things and it doesnt happen that offten.

It did to Arsenal now, and they still won points away from home.
And ppl are still uderrating Arsenal, I dont know why, and I dont say that as arsenal fan, but Chelsea Man U and liverpool are not stronger then Arsenal at all

im not underrating yous. i think you have a starting xi that CAN win the prem. but what im saying is the lack of depth is so significant that any injuries, you can kiss it goodbye. that is where chelsea and man u are better.

Manchester for sure doesnt have better nech...Chelsea does, but they miss something else, called creativity..and some games will show that, and they will drop points...

The problem why Arsenal will suffer more with 2 players injured than say Chelsea is because of the system they play. You don't expect a player on the bench to have as much flair as Fabregas and palying physical is not their style

huh?

chelsea should take Adriano on loan. Drogba is going to be out for a while and the last thing you want to do is rely on Sheva on his own. At least partner him with Adriano that way when both fail at least you can laugh.

Gerrard becomes latest player to be burgled

The home of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was burgled while he was steering his team to a vital Champions League win at Olympique Marseille on Tuesday, a police source said.

Gerrard, who inspired his men to a 4-0 victory that booked Liverpool into the knockout stages, is the latest player to be burgled while playing for the Merseyside club.

Gerrard's wife Alex Curran was in the house at the time.

Merseyside Police would not confirm it was Gerrard's house, but said they were investigating a confrontational burglary in Formby, Merseyside.

'Officers were called to a house at about 9:30 p.m. last night following a call from a female resident that four men had broken into the house and stolen items of jewellery,' a police spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

Curran and another woman, who was in the house at the time, were shaken by the incident, but were not injured.

The men, who were unarmed, wore hoods and balaclavas, the spokeswoman added. It is not clear how they broke in.

Earlier this year, the home of Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina was burgled as he helped the club reach last season's Champions League final.

Current and former team mates Jerzy Dudek, Daniel Agger, Peter Crouch and Florent Sinama-Pongolle, as well as Everton's Andy van der Meyde, were all burgled last year.

Last month, Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt suffered a break-in at his luxury home in Woolton while he was on international duty with the Dutch national team.
