the guy has a perspective and his signings are 5:star:

As much as i admire Wenger, I would say he is good at picking up upcoming talent - as a pointer i would point out the 2 biggest signing he has made in his Arsenal career from the money involved perspective - Wiltod and Reyes.

And both were failures - for whatever reasons ...

Wiltord failure?
Only cause he wanted to paly regular football, but he was great at Arsenal as super sub.
But some guys arent so patiante so he wanted to leave...

Just like reyes...
The had talent, but werent patiente enough...so good luck, but what Arsenal needs are team players...

And Arsenal never wins??

They were close to CL...This year if they dont win it, they will at least fight for it till end...same next year...cause they have squad capable of it...

And how much will that Arsenal squad cost ? aound 2 average Chelsea palyers...

Cro, I am sorry but I do not think Arsenal is a squad capable of winning the Champions League. In a two game format, I am convinced that all three English teams in the CL can beat them.

So I won't even mention Barcelona, Madrid and others. Arsenal lack a lot up front. I do not think that ther current form will stand the course of the season. Manchester will win the EPL, IMO. They have had so many home games and have yet to hit their tough stretch (which is coming up now..). They haven't even played Chelsea yet.

I'm off to see the second half between Tottenham - Birmingham.

Go Go Tottenham! :boogy:

Edit: 1-1 already! Thanks Robbie!

Editing the 2nd time: Keane thanks for making my day! The odds at HT were 2.9 for a win! :boogy:

What a shot by Sebastian Larsson  We'll see it over & over again at the sport news in the coming days.

It wasn't red for Robbie Keane that's for sure. The action that decided the game... and took my dirty money.

For the love of God, I don't know how Titus Bramble is still a player. I am not exaggerating when I say that I think I am a better defender than him!

Holy shit, what a game by Muntari!

Man, that guy us class, second goal was pure gold... Stole the ball, dribbled 2 players and a great shot in the end, which resulted with great goal...

I am also impressed by Benjani, he reminds me of Drgoba, really... I have never though that Portsmouth can be such great team, if the team stays like this, next year we will see tham in CL...

I am Arsneal then Southampton fan, so I must hate Portsmouth:) but they are doing great and going in right direction.Utaka-Muntari-Diop-Kranjčar...etc. very very good

I'm confused. Why in the world does Sir Alex also want Nico Anelka?

If Anelka would come to Man Utd, I can't see Tevez/ Anelka accepting the bench or even considering a changing system, one round Tevez, the other one Anelka.

The situation at Man Utd is a bit strange. They need a striker but someone like our great Cruz that might be sitting on the bench and waiting for his first team appearance.
