It was De Gea. The guy saved 11 shots, 7 or 8 from them like 1 on 1. It wasnt Kane, but Dele as well. Some crazy saves against Alderveireld too. Monster game from De Gea.

First half they had 0 shots on target and we played very well. Played on counters and at least had a plan. They created 2 good chances for first 60 mins and 3 shots on target. Then we went full mourinho, which was shame as it was proven again and again that when we play defensive game, we concede lot of chances. When we press and go toe to toe, we are more dangerous team.

Anyways I had written this game off, so glad we got 3 points.

I saw this game yesterday, and could anticipate all this hype. But to me, De Gea did nothing special. Sure he made a lot of stops and credit to him for that. But none of those were difficult. There was no save that any decent keeper shouldn't have made. That's no fault of De Gea, but to praise him so much for this is weird.

To be sure, Tottenham were terrible at finishing. Their best chances came early on in the first half. Every attempt in the second half was weak, and straight to the keeper. I am a big fan of Kane, he is a great all round forward but his finishing has to be better. This might be the regular Tottenham, who could be seen as buckling under pressure.

And it's such a shame that we were so poor against them.

This is my point. We had better chances, had more possession, and contained Tottenham's offense much more than ManU did. But manU scored & tottenham wasted boatloads of chances, so the result skews the performance (both ways; ours and ManUs).
