That's a tough one :p

It's EPL we're talking about. Any team who would take the place instead of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd will do an impressive achievment.

As for who to win, obviously not Pool, I hope it's not Man Utd again. Chelsea would be good option, but I want to Scolari flop at Chelsea(LOL :p ), so that would leave Arsenal. And as long as Arsenal wouldn't go further than 1/8 of CL, that would be just fine.

I also think Chelsea will win this year. Scolari can do it
Plus Scolari doing good and motivate Jose not to lose too :)

Scolari won't cut it. Manu would struggle a bit if Ronaldo leaves but they may still make it.

My predicts in this one:

1. Liverpool +1
2. Chelsea
3. Manchester United
4. Tottenham

There is no way I can see Arsenal right there. I think Arsenal needs to do some other transfers, not olny Nasri one. Ah and good decision by them selling the overated Adebayor.

The best transfer? Giovanni Dos Santos to Tottenham.

edit:

I just wanted to post the Premier League's first week's matches. It start on 16th of August at 13:45 (ECT +1 GMT):

Arsenal (13:45) West Bromwhich Albion
Aston Villa (16:00) Manchester City
Bolton Wanderars (16:00) Stoke City
Everton (16:00) Blackburn Rovers
Hull City (16:00) Fulham
Middlesbrough (16:00) Tottenham Hotspur
West Ham United (16:00) Wigan Athletic
Sunderland (18:30) Liverpool

Two games will be played in Sunday:

Chelsea (14:30) Portsmouth
Manchester United (17:00) Newcastle United

Tottenham have been buying players every year now but never delivered. I hope it happens again, though their signings this year Modric and Dos Santos could form a formidable trio with Berbatov.

But then again, they will sell Berbatov. Ferguson has tapped the Bulgarian already and eventually he will move to ManU. Unless Barca interfere with a huge offer to Tottenham and also to Berba himself.

Wow i never imagined i could say this BUT if Liverpool have a good start, this might actually be their year.

But even if CR leaves United they will get Berbatov and would still provide a great challenge.

ambitious words from the new Chel$ki boss. He want to achieve something even Jose couldnt
Scolari Eyes Quadruple
It goes without saying that big things are expected of Scolari, who took the reins at Stamford Bridge earlier this month after vacating his previous post as coach of Portugal.

The man who steered Brazil to their fifth World Cup in 2002 faces the unenviable task of transforming the Blues – renowned for their gritty, results-oriented showings since Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003 – into the sexiest and winningest team in Europe.

Scolari knows that neither style nor success alone will guarantee his job beyond next summer; however, he should be fairly safe if he achieves his aim of securing an historic Quadruple.

“We have four competitions this season and I will try to win them all,” the Brazilian said in The Sun.

“Of course it will be very difficult. But we have the players to do it. And in my life I have learned one important lesson — never say never.”

It is easy to forget that Chelsea came within a whisker of clinching a Treble last season, as they finished runner-up in the Premier League, the Champions League and the Carling Cup.

Nearly was clearly not good enough in Abramovich’s eyes, however, and Avram Grant received his marching orders shortly after his side fell to Manchester United via penalty shootout in Moscow.

But Scolari is confident of leading his men a few steps further come 2009, as he believes his big-game experience will allow the Londoners to capitalise on the groundwork laid last term.

“Last year this team arrived in two finals and came close in the league,” he continued. “That is very good news for me.

“I also want to arrive in finals. I will be happy if we do that because I know the way to win them. And the players understand that.

“I’ve told them to work hard and have confidence in themselves. After that, the rest is my problem.”

"We have to beat clubs like Chelsea on the pitch. That would make amends," said Hoeness, explaining, "It annoys me when I go to fill up my car once a week."

 That was Uli Hoeness, Bayern's GM. Then I guess the fact that we won the Beckenbauer Cup annoys him more too. :D

We used to be like that too, although a good many number of us were skeptics.

Thank the Gods we have succeeded these past 3 years.

What are you talking about, most of these morons are still skeptics.

They would probably be happier with us in the Uefa cup again playing teams like Sochuax.

Funny, how Milan has now become the joke team of the league. Good times.
