God bless Beckham. Scored a goal, looked a bit injured but is leading like a captain. The way he is going back to help out the confused English defence says alot.

Yet another semi poor performance from England. However what saddened me more was that Ecuador never looked like being able to up their game after England had score. They still continued to play the game in their “Riquelme pace” which was very frustrating.

Seriously, though we were abismal yet again. I can now understand a little bit why people here dislike us so much. Its a sin that teams like ivory coast have to go home, while were still here. I would even rather watch holland play than england, and thats saying something.

hargreaves is becoming one of my fav players. great passion hargreaves. A.Cole man of match, no questions. Beckham not great, but yet again delivers the goods again. Rooney has touches of genious, but what a waste leaving him up front on his own.

And WTF was with the time wasting! Its only bloody ecuador who are a very poor team. Gerard and Lamps need to pick up there game very quickly

Good to see an Englishmen having high regards to Hargreaves. It seems most are anti-Hargreaves for some reason. The guy plays out of position and still plays better than Neville.

I just wish he played for Canada, we would have appreciated him a hell alot than England does.

DUUUUUUHHHH stupid boring game, I am getting tired of watching England. They played poor, but sadly, Ecuador couldnt capitalise on that. Ecuador couldnt make up decent chances. They had a lot of possesion and stuff, but the final delivery was always found wanting. Stupid shots from long range etc etc.
