Checking who's the oldest striker at Empoli to score the 90' minute draw.

Checking who's the oldest striker at Empoli to score the 90' minute draw.

The oldest is Caputo Francesco, 31 years old, scored spectacular 9 goals for his team this season.

He won't be scoring.

0-2 for Inter, a glorious victory.

After the win the boys should get a Triumph back in Milano for securing the third place in the middle of the season.

This game would be way harder than it looks:

- away game
- only >2 days (15h 29/12) after the stamina torture vs Napoli (now 23h 26/12). Who arranged this ridiculous schedule? :palm:
- we are missing the most important player (Brozo) due to suspension. Valero is a half-match man, while Vecino-Gags is proven to be horror show.

You forgot to mention that it's fucking EMPOLI! Had it been Lazio or Milan I'd have been less concerned.

The Entertaining Department of the Thread Opener, lead by himself, which is technically speaking, myself, posts the video above and shares some interesting facts about this late 2002 game.

-Our legend and beloved, His Magnificence Il Capitano scored that game, which if I remember correctly, was his first goal after many years, maybe after the goal against Lazio in the UEFA Cup Final (now: Europa League) in 1998.

-Recoba had his night that game

-Antonio di Natale played for Empoli during that time, and needless to say, he scored that night against us

-Daniele Adani scored for us, another rare occurrence

-Tommaso Rocchi, who would be Strama's joker out of his sleeve ten years later, played on the opposite side of Inter that night

-There are simply too many legends on that pitch, Matrix, The Gladiator, Il Capitano, Recoba, Toldone, Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, and others. Depends if you count Crespo as a legend, since he sadly played for our rivals somewhere after in his career. Anyway, I for one respect him. In addition, he scored the opening goal for us.

(Did everything proper, but the video is still a link, please mods fix it, I'm on my phone and have to go to work)

Yes you are right, Domenico was Cuper's darling.

While at it, let's mention the fighter Emre Belozoglu, and another darling of Hector Cuper, Matias Almeyda.

Christian Vieri was absent.

And as far as I know, Empoli had a match yesterday too.

I don't know... I mean, the idea is noble but I'm afraid it would be counterproductive: I believe these people, all in all, just want to have the attention, so I would avoid anything that draws attention to them.

We should just ban then from the stadium.

I bet authorities and the club know who they are.

Others will follow, it won't stop with a few bans every now and then. People were banned from stadiums for this in the 2000s as well.
