Wtf he was still in Roma in July. Why the hell roma would not pay his July salary? Then again, it should not delay his transfer. He can just complete the transfer and sue Roma later.

I think it's a matter of principle more than anything else. They gave him a lot of trouble when he wanted out, he had two failed transfers with juve and inter, and he always remained professional and respected his contract, now he expects the same sort of stuff from roma.
