I was impressed with what Davids did at Barca, he really made a difference to the team and was a key figure in the second half rivival. If he gives the same effort on the pitch for Inter as what he showed for Barca then he will be a great asset for next season. I def say welcome to Davids with a

Davids is a great player, no one doubts this. He's one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and is a great ballwinner. Contrary to what people think, i think he is at times a headless chicken but he is effective and is all over the pitch. Anyone who watched Barca play in 2004 would understand how big of an impact that the "Pitbull" had on them. However, we're very familiar with failures. There isn't one reason to think that Davids won't end up being a bust and be another bad signing on our part. With him, we get a player over his 30's and possibly past his prime.

We also let go of Emre, basically. I can't see him accepting a bench role, he is too good for that. One of the most talented central midfielders in the world and yet again another fine talent has been treated like utter crap at our club. Sickening stuff, really. Look at our freaking midfield for crying out loud, it looks like Moratti and Fachetti are playing a damn CM game. The sad part is we're probably not even gonna sell players to make room and many of them will be unhappy with the lack of playing time sometime during the season and cause havoc in the dressing room. We can all see the future because it's the same ol' garbage every season, ain't it?

Doesn't matter if he came free and Moratti hasn't spend much money this summer, it's still adding players we don't need and will cause an unhealthy buzz around our team.

Moratti certainly makes losts of idiotic mistakes every year. But signing Davids must be one of the best things he has done so far! If you followed last season you do very well know that The Pitbull is still on top, maybe even better than ever because he don´t get too many stupidity red cards anymore.

So can he avoid injuries, form dips and even occasional choking then he will most certainly rock with us IMO. :stuckup:

I don't know if signing davis is the smartest thing to do..., we still have to see it when the season comes... I am hopeful though... I hope he'll shine.., if he doesn't it just lenghten our curse...

I believe stan's signing is one of the best signing we ever made.. , and the adriano's....

I hate the act of making so many signings while we have abundant players.., but I don't hate the players we sign.. simply because they're our hope now.. I just know that having too many players will always give us troubles.. but we also had so many injuries in the past..

we had so many problems..., and I think many of the solutions conflict one another... so in anyway, every solution is always arguable and raise eyebrows..

so, the way I see it... our management try to straighten up few issues and I prefer to see how they can manage our problems...

IMO, we can reduce our issues systematically... and to me the signing of cuper few seasons ago was the start...

Mancini and his coaching staffs hopefully can solve our injury problems and also the lack of soul in the team... many of the players have hearts but they are trying to find the soul.... the rythim that makes inter goes, that make the players enjoy being at inter.....

call me stupid, but zac touched the players a bit....

it's a hopeful season...

I like emre and I hope him the best.,..
I also love inter...

I hope Inter and emre have things in common and work together...
otherwise I will still support both of them.....

That would be a nice statement. I want him to say that he is injury free and ready to start working immediately. The sooner he arrives at Brunico the better.

I wouldn't be surprised if he said the same thing to what Veron or Cambiasso said. Perhaps inter.it has a script for these new players. All they need is a thesaurus to make it less obvious.

Geez... Are you gonna hold a grudge at him till the end of time? Seriously he is a star who can add the POWER we need in midfield. :star: I know some Interisti will not welcome Edgar with open arms. But after he has contributed power, grid and determination to Giuseppe Meazza I just hope those who were doubtful will come to realise what great skills he has.

And when he transmits his energetic enthusiasm into our team I will be satisfied. I judge E. Davids on his performances and heart for Inter, not past mistakes made in a corrupt soccer Italy.

Furthermore the effect of his only "possible" doping use several years ago will definately not improve his spell with us.


So I just merely state my wondering over the raised eyebrows over this player. Simply odd. Hmm... :wth:
