To be perfectly honest, Bastian signing wouldn't make any sense if we signed Mascherano this season, and Kuyt. Before I thought that maybe they're thinking of bringing Bastian to the left wing, but next season we'll hopefully have more developed Philippe, and he'll need more playing time, not less.
So Bastian would make perfect sense, if we only signed a left wing this season, and that's it. However, I'm pretty sure we'll try for Mascherano till the end. So this really buggs me.
The only possibility would be, if we went back to 4-4-2 Rombo. Then there is place for Wes, Mascherano (DM), and Cuchu - Bastian in midfield. Plus Sammy - Diego in the positions they like most.
Everything would be perfect... except, that 4-4-2 doesn't bring you success anymore. Everybody on top plays with formations that involves wings now, either if it's offensively or deffensively, and deffinetly our success could be done, because we could deffend so well on the whole width of the field. It cannot be done in 4-4-2 Rombo without any difficulties.

"Diegus ou said he has already signed or not?
In my opinion you were misinformed ...
We know that we are dealing with, but if he already signed would know even the walls at this time."
you're right
"But that answer is?
Explain why no official has signed!
Give me a reason instead of answering it!"
There is dancing in the Italian Super Cup final in less than 24 hours, has a destabilizing effect the team with the announcement of a player who still is not available?
I'm trying to understand why if you do not announce in 1 second, someone goes crazy. You rather explain this
