He will always play conservative football in two legs games, as any normal manager would do against strong opponents. Simeone played smart football, defensive but smart. If Milan scored first, you'd see more attacking Atltico. But they didn't, and atletico won, in CL, away, against thee best Milan i've seen the whole year.

Mazzarri has NOTHING on SImeeone, he is not even worth enough to suck his dick.

I expected AM to destroy Bbilan tbh...but I admit I don't watch AM a whole lot.La Liga is my least favourite league for the Barca vs Real constant bitching and such...AM is my favourite club there though as Courtois,Diego Costa,Koke,before Falcao,Kun,Torres(he was great there) are all great players.It is a shame they sell their best players though.

about the Simeone vs Mazzarri thing...Simeone won a EL,Uefa Super Cup beating Chelsea 4-1,a Copa del Rey beating Real 2-1,beating Barca this season,tied with Barca and Real with points in first place,conceading the least goals...

what has Mazzarri won?! A Coppa Italia and a second place with Napoli...but he has a pretty weaker squad here at Inter atm.

I never understood the hard on y'all have for him... He played more for Sevilla, Atletico & Lazio. Scored more goals for them than he did for Inter. Won way more titles with Lazio & Atletico than with Inter, yet y'all think he is a hardcore nerazzurri. Never understood tbh.

It doesnt matter how much he has played for them, but what he feels about the club. And he has said it numerous times after he left us, even without no one asking.

Also, i am not fond of him for the inter bond, but his quality as manager.

Because our team became crap after he left us to Lazio. That was how big he was for us.

That damn season. Inter lost the title by losing home to Atalanta in the finish of the season. You can't blame Lazio or Juventus for that. Also Lazio lost to Inter in the finish of 2009-2010, but Roma lost to Sampdoria 1-2 at home in a moment when they were first on the table, didn't they? But I agree, Simeone was sure a good player, but an Inter legend? That's too much.
On the coach matter, sure, why not. He's doing a great job with Athletico, maybe with Inter he would too. But for now I think Mazzari is safe.

I think people like him because he's the type of player who always gives 110% when wearing his club's shirt. Most people tend to respect players like that. Also, he was always good in the derbies and scored multiple times against Milan.

It's kind of like how everyone likes Crespo (he's a very likable guy) despite the fact he's played for Milan, Inter, Lazio, Parma, etc.

That game was there for Inter to win it. I remember that it was only Poborsky who was really interested to play for the win in Lazio.

It was more that something happened to Inter. Lazio didn't want to win the game that much. I remember Lazio fans saying that Lazio needs to lose so Roma won't win the title.
