It almost seems as if some of you are praying on his failure. If he misses a sitter in the first game I'm sure this thread will light up with I told you so posts. Strikers are fragile and confidence is very important. I do not think Diego felt loved by Rafa and after being snubbed by Maradona he realized even after all he had done he still wasn't respected. That along with injuries really fucked up his season. I'm not saying he will be back to 09/10 form but I can guarentee you one thing. When on form Diego Milito is a top class striker and brings more to our game then Pazzini (who I'm also a fan of)

As a Pazzini fan myself, I agree, Diego has more to offer with his control, passing, and ability. Hopefully next season a 3 pronged attack gets some chemistry.

Check the last 10 mins of that match against Milan, gave the ball twice away so so easily, those 10 mins showed last season's Milito again. I hope I'm wrong and you're right, he could be crucial post Eto.
