I don't know... I'm probably one of the few who appreciate him as Inter player. He progressed a lot in the past two years thanks to his hardworking and resolute character. If he continues like that I think next season he will make us all not miss Hakimi anymore.

He's been solid I'm not gonna deny that but so was he in a period of every season. He'd have a period as if he was the perfect replacement for Hakimi but then more often or not he'd have performances that make people want Bellanova to play over him.

I'm not writing him off yet but I'm pretty Sooner or later Cuadrado will start over him. I'd be glad to be wrong but after 2 years, it's the same dance over and over again.

His decision making is awful... not that Cuadrados is much better. If Dumfries was smarter or didn't shit his pants when he gets in scoring position he could be world class. I just don't see it happening. Of the starters that we should be willing to sell. He is up there.

Dumfries is definitely better suited as a RB instead of RWB. His burst of momentum going forward shines in tighter formations than ours in which WBs have much looser space to exploit on.

Also, his crosses seem to be much more clinical just outside (or inside) the opponent's penalty box which happens much more often in the Dutch NT. Dimarco or Hakimi's style of whipped crosses that we systemically encourage usually happen way outside the opponent's penalty box which isn't an ideal location for Dumfries' type of deliveries.
