Defenders for the summer market

Dede is a natural left winger, he plays an attacking left wing so why would we put him at left back and leave ourself so vulnerable to attacks?

I don't know if he's a natural left winger or not, but he plays perfectly in LB position as well. He's said to be the second best LB in Bundesliga. I have seen him and have been impressed, with his defence as well as his offence.

For me, he's just like J.Zanetti, but with better crosses and good shots on goals. He's really good in defence as well.

I get to see Dortmund's games lots of times, especially last season (I am also following their games this season as well, not much though).
Thus, I just wanted to say that he's very good in LB position, where I most of the time see him there in the particular position - LB.

And I do think that we will be looking for a LB, incase Coco would not be able to make it for next season. Potenza might also be a candidate for that role, but we might consider other players as well. Just my opinion.

Who said he should be the starter?? He should be the 1st backupp for either Favalli/Coco plus he can in emergencies play as the righback or centreback.

Oh, I´ve been critisizing Pasquale for over a year now. I haven´t really seen much of Potenza. The point is we need more than one single left fullback in the squad.

Well if Coco goes does then luckily we have Cordoba who can play as a LB if needed. Then perhaps Burdisso can partner Miha in the middle.

BTW on Kompany's part, I'd like to say that experience isn't always everything, that sometimes pure talent can make up for a lack in experience. If we have a chance to get Kompany then I'd see it as really foolish to want to opt for an older defender just because he has "experience" in the league.

As left back backup position we have Favalli.As backup he suits perfectly.

As backup for RB he will never play since we have J.Zanetti.

As central defender ?I doubt Mancini would risk so much.

I doubt we will see him with u nextseason.

I would only buy 1 central defender to play with Cordoba. My choice, in order of preference:

1) Samuel
2) Andrade
3) Kompany

well we could bring Sorondo back as a 5th CB as he has been playing very well at Crystal Palace But he was veryy awful last time he was at Inter

Burdisso played as an LB in Atalanta game, and he looked good..
he could even went forward that an LB should do ....

I don't think Burdisso should fill LB position, he's our future CB starter, but he and cordoba can fill in LB position quite well

I'm also leaning towards bringing Potenza back. With him backing up Coco and probably eventually taking over the spot we wouldn't need to go out and spend some bucks to get a LB.

The worst thing that can happen is we sell Potenza to Milan, and 2 seasons later, he'll be the best left back in Serie A.

Now, that's what I call screw up...

what i meant is, at Parma he participated in almost every game.

Now with Chievo he hasnt even started a game yet, i think 1 sub appearence. now thats wasting.
