Replacing Gagliardini with Frattesi was too good to be true, Frattesi is a player that could easily start for us, we are not Real that can have so much quality on the bench. Honestly i don't agree, our midfield is not worse, it's getting better with him, but he also needs to adapt first of course. Barella for example needed almost a season, while Sensi was already amazing. (then he got injured and never was the same player again)

About SMS: There was a discussion here. If i have to be honest, i also feel hes overrated. He is a good player, no question. But i feel like he isn't that good like he was in past. The fact that only Juve wants him says already a lot. If he was THAT class some other top club would join the race.

We do have Asllani. Offcourse it’s a real difference with Brozo quality wise, but if you want to develop young players, this is the way to go. They can’t when they are the 3th choise for 2/3 years.

Frattesi should have come instead fkn Gags. We are losing Brozo and getting him. Only upgrade there is that we finally got rid of Gags. I was hoping we can get Frattesi and keep Hakan, Mikhi, Barella and Brozo. But this club is in such a shitty state with chinese rats so that scenario was impossible. Such a bummer.

You don’t have guarantees with young players. That’s the exact reason why a lot Italian coaches prefer to use players older players. And they are right a lot of times when immediate succes is wanted. But our scouts did see somerhing in Asllani. Brozo wasn’t the player when he came in from Zagreb he is now either.

And we don’t need to rely on Asllani now now neither. He will be a backup for Hakan. Is there a risk in there? Yes! But if you can’t trust or develop him now you can better write him off, because he will never fulfill his potential with us in that case.

We are building a squad here, with very little money. Sometimes you have to ‘downgrade’ a position for a while (although there can be a upscale in the foreseeable future) to upgrade another position. That’s the way it is.

I called it early but people insisted the two cases are different.

Zhang didn't learn a thing from Bremer case.

Timing is everything in mercato. You make the deal first and then you have an entire summer to make necessary sales. If you wait to find money first then market dynamics can change pretty fast, others could catch up and in the end you will either lose the player or end up overpaying.

Yeah, but with the bonuses the total cost is around 38mln. Jube were able to pull off a free loan though. I think it was possible for Inter too, if the entire world don't know that Zhang is dead broken. So, I cannot blame the people that want to see some money in advance.

To be honest, a player like Frattesi or SMS may be a bit of a luxury for us. The midfield is already the most solid department of the team; we don't have to make a change other than replacing Gagliardini (lol) with someone a bit more physical than our other mids.

We are desperate for quality at the front and back however. Where are the forward and defender rumors? Ideally, we should be concentrating our resources to make moves in those areas.

I can kind of get it in the sense that Frattesi and SMS are two great market opportunities and when I look around at the options for the attack I am completely underwhelmed, but still.
