Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that Pizarro has changed his mind. Don't know if this is Pajo's source or not, but it's mine.

That's really not good news :frustrat:

Let's hope it's just roumor and he will stay with us

Things move fast here. Sports.it just recently published the news that Pizarro decided to stay due to his lust to win the 06/07 Scudetto with Inter, but even more recently the same site published that everything is cleared out and Pizarro will sign in short. Pizarro's a Roma player.

Now, it has also been confirmed by inter.it.

MALLORCA: PIZARRO RETURNS TO ITALY
Saturday, 19 August 2006 13:28:02
MALLORCA - The Nerazzurri finished off their preparations for tonight's Pirelli Trophy match against RCD Mallorca (kick-off at 22:00) with a morning training session of warm-up, ball possession and tactical exercises, and some shooting practice. David Pizarro did not take part in the training session. With the permission of Roberto Mancini and the club, the Chilean midfielder has flown back to Italy to follow his transfer situation.

Yes,he's out of Inter for sure now.
Just hope that we will take first option or something for Mancini or de Rosi from this transfer.

Forget De Rosi and Mancini, Roma will not sell good players liek Inter does.

Big mistake from Inter, now we can forget 4-3-3 :frustrat:

Can someone confirm what does this tell:

Retroscena Pizarro: voleva l'eventuale premio scudetto 2007 dell'Inter
19 08 2006

It's from http://sports.alice.it/it/calcio/calciomercato/index_rullo.html

And guys, why have you thought at the first place we gonna use 4-3-3 when Mancini has used primarily 4-4-2 for the whole two years he has been at Inter? We have so many players who are able to play on the flanks, so it's quite obvious we're gonna play 4-4-2.

Pizarro would be something like the Andrea Pirlo of our midfield. Linking up the passes, stringing together our attacks and so forth.

Nobody knows as to why Pizarro seems to have snubbed the Roma move. Some rumours say that it's the wage difference and some says it's coz he was convinced to stay in Inter for one more season.

As for the Pirlo role. R.Mancini himself has said that we have got Pizarro who could play just like Pirlo when we were rumoured to the ex-inter player.

----------- Pizarro ------------
---Vieira ------------ Cambi ---
---------- Stank/Figo ---------

could be cool :D

As I said, it means that Pizarro initially wanted to stay at Inter to win the 06/07 Scudetto.

Now it pops up everywhere. Pizarro is a Roma player.

Hold your horses. :) It will be the accepted co-ownership, and we will get 6M€. So now we will have just three pure central midfielders + Stankovic, so it's definitely gonna be 4-4-2 with wingers all the way.

Roma are getting their man after all. Although I wasn't initially pissed about this, giving our main rival for the scudetto alongside Milan is such a joke.

What amazes and irritates me is that we can't seem to say no to our die-hard rivals when they make requests about any of our players. Both Pizarro and eventually Burdisso may leave for a rival club just because we can't say no.

Yeah even inter.it says that he's left to look after his transfer situation, so I'm afraid he's gone.

CafeCordoba, that article says that Pizarro was going to Roma in co-ownership with Inter, and he apparently told Roma that he wanted to get the money prize Inter players will get if they win the title next year. When he did, Roma stopped the negotiations.

If it's true that's very sad.

Yep..I know he wouldn't play a lot, but I like him and I wanted us to keep him.. Now if some of Viera-Cambiasso gets injured, dacourt will have to be regular..
