A better LB than Kurzawa and Mendy for 15m? :epicwin: Don't believe it a bit though.
He is still good. Dalbert for LB, Semedo for RB please. The latter is developing into a beast since the last time we were linked to him.

"True fluid of the left hand band"

Got to love google translate. Honestly the shit is straight up poetic sometimes.

I'm actually cautiously excited about this signing for some reason. I feel like it's one of Sabatini's gambles that might turn out a diamond in the rough. Sabatini is a gambler though, sometimes he signs Dodos and sometimes he signs Emersons. No one knew what to expect when either arrived, one turned out good, the other not so much but he still tricked us into buying him.

Dalbert being better than Mendy and Kurzawa in the league is just plain bull lol. Mendy, along with Marçal, was selected in most Ligue 1 XIs.

This thread contains an entertaining number of good jokes. I just hope signing Dalbert won't be the final joke on us.

We have been going after these "promising but not yet an established player" types for our wingback positions for a very long time and we have consistently been screwing up and these promising lads show no promise with us at all.Erkin,Telles,Ansaldi,Nagatomo,Ambrosio etc were all supposed to be promising and the moment they got here they sucked or were good but not consistenty.

I fear the pattern will be repeated here once again with Dalbert.I hope i am wrong.Maicon worked but these last 5-6 years this tactic of getting such a player hasnt worked for us.I wish we go for established names even if they are slightly aged.Dani Alves has worked well for Juve. Our league is not as dependent on pace as a few others.I wish we had gone for Zabaleta.32-33 is no longer what it used to be back in the day.

We need results this season. Can't buy these young chaps and nurture them for a 1-2 seasons and help them grow and then turn into Maicons. Results are needed immediately. We have enough money to not need a player who has a resale value. Our defense needs to be a priority and guys like Zabaleta are needed here more than ever imo.

Every time i think that Milan got Rodriguez and i'm mad, i tell myself that wing backs from france are often superior to german ones so that stresses me out. A maybe fake generalisation i know but still..

Are you mixing things up dude? Erkin, Ansaldi, Naga, DA are "promising"? :yao: they are actually established (to be shit) ones.
The best one in those you mentioned is Telles, and he is indeed young and "promising" lad. Here he sucked? No. He is currently the CL quality FB ffs.

You got all that from a YouTube video or you've actually seen him play?

based on YouTube videos that should basically highlight the BEST of him.

But if Dalbert is Sabatini`s choice, I can give him my trust.

We got those guys because they were promising based on how they were doing at their previous clubs. And Telles was decent. He was hardly world class here.Rose tinted glasses with this guy on this forum. He had his moments but he was hardly a Maicon type man.

That's what a Nice fan said on twitter when he was asked about Dalbert:

"Great potential. Amazing speed and acceleration. Good dribbles and crosses. Always at 100%. He has to work on tactic and defensive skills."

I thought i should share it with the forum since most of us haven't watched him play.

Here we are. The Inter is about to close the first shot of the Sabatini era and give Luciano Spalletti the defensive external Dalbert Henrique Chagas Estavao . The deal for the player who really likes the new manager of Suning and the sports director Piero Ausilio is in the finish line. Between Wednesday and Thursday there will be a last meeting between the Nerazzurri and Nice to finalize the final details and conclude the deal: the French will get 12 million euros , while for the third, elected the best in its role in Ligue 1 just finished , A five- year contract is ready. Returning from the Chinese trip, the new 'Nerazzurri' team has worked unabated and there is great optimism for the engagement of the Brazilian .

This makes sense if we're planning to get Rudiger as well, who would play as a more defensive RB.

Welcome! Hopefully he'll be as good as Maicon + Cafu + Carlos + Marcelo combined.
