Disgusting. However what is done. Is done. You cannot possibly do a worse job than G(ass)perini. Now lets get some points on the board.

Forza Inter.

I don't think we can really play 4-2-3-1. Zarate and Coutinho doesn't have the work rate, defensive skills and tactical awareness to play that position in Ranieri's defensive minded gameplan. I'm afraid these two guys, who could have the skill to make a difference, will not have any sort of role under Ranieri. Alvarez aint a winger. This leaves us with Forlan, who also is more of a striker. I can't see anything but a 4-3-1-2 in our future and frankly, I can't blame him. Some of our young players are so limited, fielding them is pain in the ass. Again, I so hope I'm proven wrong.

So what was the point of signing a bunch of young players if we're going to have the most conservative old prick who never picks young players in charge?

Seriously, this is by far the worst possible coach for the development of the younger players we have. However, Stankovic and co will probably prosper :p
Seriously, dude, u don't know what you're talking about. Ranieri is really good at nurturing young players, there are lots of examples
He is not going to bring results, but he will surely do good at restructuring the club if Moratti stops behaving like an old conservative stubborn dick

From Jube's forum :

http://forum.juventuz.com/showthread.php?21747-Claudio-Ranieri/page498

He said firstly that the team was stronger back in 2007-2009 because we had five champions(Buffon, Nedved, Del Piero, Trezeguet, Camoranesi) while we only have two now(Buffon, Del Piero). He explains that a team needs some time to gel and work and that having 5 coaches in 3 years is not the way to go, we need to find some stability. He wanted Xabi Alonso but they bought a defensive midfielder instead(Poulsen) because they had spent all the money on Amauri and that the same thing happened with Melo(we needed an offensive midfielder, not a DM).

He said that he wanted a replacement for Nedved in 2009 and that the management went for a trequartista(Diego) instead of going for a left winger and that they had to change the formation because of Diego's incompatibility with the 4-4-2. Basically, his point is that every time that Juve needs a player in one position, the board buys a player in another position and ignores the problem. He is absolutely spot on on this one and I fear that the same will happen this summer(not buying quality defenders).

He also said that the problem with the mentality this season was that Juve's usual mentality is to win every game while this year Delneri was quite often content with draws.

I hope he restarts coaching in the Serie A soon, he is a good guy.

i love optimism

think i have to visit my grandmother again to see someone with perspectives =)
save your energy for when he failed or to celebrate if there'll be something to celebrate

honestly we just got our heads pulled out of a pile of shit
shouldnt we use the time to take a deep breath of relief?
you'll need it for the next pile ;)
it can only be better then with a 3man defense under gasperini

forza inter !

I'm thinking that this is exactly what we need right now tbh.

Yesterday I said to take Delio Rossi asap as some of you also did, but look at how many people were like ok this could really work, etc... with Rafa. Look what happened with him. Then Leo, the exact same thing. Although there was always going to be more heat with him.

Then comes Gasp, and we all know how that story goes, just as well it's still only pre-season eh?!

So someone coming in where us fans are like WTF?!?! is kinda good if you think about it, hopefully he can erase been 2nd best in the league and be the Mr.Tinkerman that we will all come to love.

Then we can have a coach for more than one or two bloody season(s)!
